Awesome video but I’d have to say if your making a beginner video you should also teach proper handling wet your hands and also use a net trout aren’t bass they are more delicate fish that need to be handled properly not trying to bash anything just some info as a fellow fisherman

So, I'm new to all this trout fishing. I'm in Georgia. I read on our GA gov site that the fish don't die here. Some do after spawing. They can grow quite big. The are stocked here and reproduce. Am i missing something?

Great stuff man, just got into river fishing, was a little discouraged by all these guys with crazy rigs.. even knowing that with practice you can be great on a Barbie rod.

Like you I used a just a hook and a small sinker about 12 inches up, and was trying to catch them on a pink trout worm, kept getting bites but it seemed like they were just going for the end of the worm and never ate the hook. How should I hook the trout worm up? Or should I just grab some power bait?

Luckily I got a few 6-8 inch lake trout later in the day. Nothing to write home about but it felt good.

I need ideas about how to catch more fish. I typically use size 5 sinkers (3) and for some reason I can’t seem to catch any fish. People to the left and right of me are pulling them out like crazy.
