Excellent. I didn`t know they had wireless guitar pickups back then. I noticed they walked off stage without unplugging their guitars. Beautiful harmonies!

WOW! I didn’t know this existed. I remember being allowed to stay up to watch it, I was 8 and already a very young Beatles fan. My dad said they'd never last 😂😂😂 They weren't popular with parents who didn’t like the hair or the music or the new freedoms they represented.
Parents had been through WW2 with all its deprivations and sacrifices. Ditto their parents with WW1.
To be honest, everything changed around 1963 and the divide between the generations was huge and actually called 'the generation gap'. Ours was an age of rebellion and oh my god did we go for it! It was a Golden Age.
I consider myself so lucky to have grown up when I did. We have the Beatles to largely thank for that. Not only were they gifted writers and musicians but were an inspiration to so many others.

I'm almost 62. Sigh. Don't remember a time without the Beatles. And every single time I have ever heard She Loves You I feel the same giddiness and joy.

What else can one add to the countless comments of the fab 4 greatness ? I would add that they will stand the test of time for an eternity. One thing puzzles me....wasn´t this done in color ? Seen footage of it along with John´s witty "rattle your jewelry" remark. Would love to see the entire performance as it also featured Marlene Dietrich. There is a photo of her taken with the Beatles. Legends !!!

Every time I watch one of these early videos I say to myself: Three amps, four microphones,m one drum kit and absolutely nothing else. Perfect musicianship, perfect harmonies, a killer drummer and amazing songs...mostly writeen by them. It's 1963, I was eight years old. Has any band been anything close to this good?

I remember that night very well, they were excellent. I however was watching the Rolling Stones in South London, who were also fantastic. What a great time for music.

This really does show just how unbelievably brilliant the Beatles were. Spectacular!
