Anyone wishing the writers made asura and Indra more different than their descendants, I don’t just mean personalities also their abilities, Indra just feel another sasuke since every moved this guy done is almost identical to sasuke, asura has a combination of both hashirama (the wood style that came out no where) and naruto (wind style and what is basically rasengan), I know they were the first but I’m was hoping they both had their own thing, naruto and sasuke are different from their previous incarnates, so why have much overlaps

After reading the novel on itachi, I can now see that indra and itachi were a lot alike, sure itachi was smart but just like indra they never tried to make friends.

I know this is not manga canon but they really screwed over Indra, I get that this story is about trusting in people and relying on people, but to be honest Indra worked for everything he had and still was able to compete with Asura even though he had everyone’s chakra given to him and the power of the LITERAL Sage of the Six Paths given to him and Indras hate alone could conjure up a full body Susanoo, in my opinion Indra is still indeed stronger than Asura

Lot's people blaming Hagoromo for Indra and saying he should have given Indra the heirship. Those people are missing the point of the story and lesson.

Indra was a prodigy and decided he didn't need others help or input. He was not evil. Asura wasn't evil either, simply not as fast to learn. Because power came easily to Indra, he began to think like his grandmother that those with power should rule. Indra listened to the problem of the people, but chose not to try and give them a new solution, he simply forced the most straight solution he saw and didn't think of the consequence and forced them to suffer the consequence.

Asura listened to the people and sought a solution that would satisfy all, thinking through the possibilities and the consequences. He unified the people through understanding, like ninshu is supposed to be used. The heir, was to inherit ninshu.

Indra himself had already rejected the teachings of ninshu, creating ninjutsu and wished to dominate all others.

This is how it's started damn it's just family troubles 😅😅🤣
