Congratulations Adam! I know how big a deal this is for you. I expect to see some hockey being played when it ices over. My pond has been iced over pretty much since the first of December. With the cost of the very high cost Bluetti is it really worth the cost as opposed to your previous generator?

Adam you need to give the Department of Water and Power in Los Angles California some instructions on how to do a water reservoir. They certainly are now good at it in LA.

That spot holding water looks like a great spot for pond number 4. 🎉 Also would it help to dig down and put a larger pipe low connecting pond 2 & 3 so they stay equal to level so you don’t need to pump from 3 to 2?

What is the purpose of the pond? Swimming in the summer and ice hockey and skating in the winter? Or should animals (fish) also be in it?

Now that the pond is full would be interesting to measure the amount of water going into and out of the pond to see how much water is leaking. Being that's it's cold out there will be very little lost to evaporation. Might be interesting.

Something like a little EU2200i would extend your run time a ton for about 50lbs and a gallon of gas. That's what I use inline with my bluetti to get more capacity out of the generator by giving it a constant load.

Cut a small swell in the land to divert runoff into the pond from that giant hill behind your house.

Pool would have been better investment, this is a future maintenance nightmare. Nature is a dynamic system and the pond is going to change

After digging pond #2 it sure looks like you should have started there. It’s a better setting for your pond especially compared to how out of place pond #1 looks. You should stop coloring the water too. Congrats on getting pond #1 full and leak free. 👍👍👍
