I forgot to add the USS Lenah Sutcliffe Higbee (DDG-123). This vessel is a United States Navy Arleigh Burke-class Flight IIA which is scheduled for commissioned on13 May 2023. She was christened on 24 April 2021 in Pascagoula, Mississippi, and delivered to the Navy on 30 November 2022.

I could swear I just watched a video on El Buzzo where they listed a pile of those LCS ships being decommissioned...ones that aren't that old. Why build new ones if they are scrap crap?

The Littoral ships are going to be mothballed very shortly. Waste of money and don't do the job they're designed for.

All the new weaponry is meaningless as young Americans are basically taught to hate their country. If you don’t believe in you own country what do you have to fight for?

With a navy bigger than the next 10 navies combined, the US military continues to bankrupt the country, while millions of people has barely any medical coverage , cannot cover medical expenses or education bills. This is NOT how we stay #1 in the world...

When? Oh when will the NAVY stop sucking up to former presidents in naming ships? Why is there no carrier named ENTERPRISE? DOES NO BRASS REMEMBER the prophecy of American would always be great as long as she had a Ship named Enterprise? And when did we start naming subs after cities and States? This is a distinction, at least for states reserved for CAPITOL ships. Ohio class is a CAPITOL ship. Have you ever saw a Trident sub in dry dock? WTF Washington? Over,

Naval vessels are called she and her, not it. It is "crissening" not "Christianing". Otherwise, great info to know!

Do a goodle search of "How to Pronounce Christen". It is not "Christian".

I find it really irksome when putative narrators can't speak basic English. Not to mention the obvious total ignorance of terms used and the subject discussed.

For every naval ship America builds China completes 5 or more and it merchant marine 10 fold. The US despite its high tech has fallen way behind and throw money away on projects like the Zumwalt.

Didn't anyone at The Buzz spot the glaring, repeated mistake of using the words: "Chritsianed" and "Christianing" instead of the correct: "Christened" and "Christening" in the narration for his video? Then, oddly, the correct word was used in the written comment posted under the video by The Buzz itself; so, it wasn't a case of them being 'ignorant' of the correct spelling; just no clue about the pronunciation. Also, the narration was delivered in a flat, monotone voice that was spoken too rapidly and, therefore, had no impact, considering the interesting subject matter being described. Very poor 'quality control'.
Cheers, Bill H.

Interesting fact my grandfather served on the USS Canberra "The Can-do Kangaroo" from 1963 to 1965. He was the ships editor and worked on the paper, cruise book's (which he still has) and many of the ships documents. After his service he became a editor at sports illustrated and would work with them from the 70's to the early 00's.

I’m stuck on the fact that the military has been infiltrated by the multi gender bullshit for so long they actually built a submarine for unknown genders. I’m stunned that our military is at a point where they don’t know if they should cry or shoot the enemy unbelievable.

So weighted heavily towards Little Crappy Ships...sigh. How long are they expected to remain in service, will they reach the decade mark? One would hope more effort would be put into bringing more submarines on line but all you hear from the chorus is supply chain issues. Problem solving should not be an excuse.
