To prevent scams like this, and to legally cover their behinds in count, everything they sell is registered in their computers under the buyer’s ID. So the guy doesn’t have his receipt, he could have used his ID if he wasn’t trying to pull a fast one. I was surprised that the attendant didn’t ask for his ID, which makes me suspect that this was scripted. Still, it’s highly entertaining. 🤣
