Americans are used to many chemicals in their processed food so the taste is higher and so normal seasoning with decent amount of salt, isn't enough.

Trust an American to say theirs are best. It is all about perception. I doubt there is actually any difference. McDonald’s is a franchise, so you have to assume supplies all come from the same distrubutor

As a German, even though I never visit FatDonalds anymore for countless reasons, I will say the menu options are different, as we have several different pork burgers (Germans don't eat beef very much).

With the sweet tea it's best to mix half sweet and half unsweet. Some parts of the US are used to that level of sweet in their tea but most of us aren't.
