About time Jasper Disaster gets relegated. At the base of dangerous sprints last year, jumping to Cav's wheel across the road (I think he was very lucky there, I think it was an impulse and he didn't give it much thought). This was not professionally closing the door as well, Wout was nearly completely next to him, he knew he was there, yet he shoves him into the barriers. As a Belgian, I really want to be a fan of Jasper, but I just can't be, given the way he sprints.. IF there is another relegation this Tour, I hope they DQ him for the rest of it.

Jasper should just think about his closing the door strategy not only is it dangerous to other riders it maybe cost him the victory 2x already.

Still a pretty dirty sport. Cheaters sometimes get caught, sometimes gets a pass. If cheater finished first, chances are, he wouldn’t have been relegated.

It's simple, no lateral movement when you have a clear line ahead. Always sprint parallel with the barriers.
When following a wheel it's more difficult imo because that's a much more natural move, but you can also endanger other when just following a wheel so sanctions are necesarry there too. Cav should be DQ'd because he went sideways, Philipsen should be DQ'd twice. Enforce it e-ve-ry time and i assure you it won't take long befofe they finally sprint.

Just because the UCI judges often leave it like that due to some arbitrairy reasoning, you're never going to outrule dangerous sprinting.

finally… tbh, as he did this countless times and got a warning that very morning they could have disqualified him. Btw, Cavendish also has caused too many crashes with his behavior without being penalized (stage 5, Bauhaus relegated and Cavendish not… what???) - there are clear rules and the commissairs should judge all the same

Honestly, the PELOTON should "adjudicate" Lil-PP-sen for his transgressions. Where are Peter and Caleb when you need them? If Lil-PP suffered a mid-season injury that kept him out for a while, it would be BENEFICIAL to the peloton, and NOT the saddest thing to happen. B*tches get stitches!

Degenkolb was the only rider left whi could have out sprinted Van der Poel & his teammate takes him out. Funny how that works
