My gifs are not working when I click on the gif button in safari images what’s happening

The gif is working in photos but when I use it on facebook it just shows as a photo

Anyone got this. On WhatsApp on iPhone when in a chat you always hit + then open photos and you got a GIF option. This option is no longer there on my phone and I’ve no idea why. Anybody ? Cheers
