quisiera saber cuanto vale una de estas camionetas
ОтветитьMaşallah güle güle kullan abim 1960'li yılında benimde vardı TURKEY KAYSERİ den selâmlar saygılar sevgiler
ОтветитьIt’s interesting how both the early Ford Transit and Econoline had the engines located in the passenger cabin between the front seats under a cover instead of under the hood and partially dashboard like the current Transit and Econoline or the back like the original VW vans.
ОтветитьFinally got it yesterday, just up loaded a small clip on you tube, look for Paul Hattersley or taunus transit in UK, many thanks
ОтветитьWe are in the process of buying one, 1965 German Fire, it was imported to the UK in 2011
ОтветитьThank you, very nice
ОтветитьI will need the Windows rubbers, rear lights and a few other things..
ОтветитьI'm restauring it and I need some parts! Do you know where can I find parts for this Van? I'm from Portugal and here this is like the only Taunus Transit in the country
ОтветитьHello, I have one like this also from 1966! Beautiful Van
ОтветитьThis is the most common shift pattern, although placement of the reverse varies. Btw ive never seen the reverse in that place, but many cars has it right and back. Ive also seen left and back or forth. Some 4 step cars have 1st left and back, being the most common on 3 step cars. Early FK 1000 has a column shift, I think it goes like: R: up/forth. 1: up/back 2: down/forth 3: down/back.
ОтветитьIm sure there was less traffic in those days but I know the feeling , I remember my first time in England , strange way to drive on a roundabout , even stranger to cross the street as a pedestrian ( after a few foamless beers in the pub ) , Thanks for watching.
ОтветитьMy first time driving a 2CV was in London, and it was also my first time driving on the wrong side of the road and the wrong side of the car! Shifting with my left hand! It was quite a trip! But you're right, you do learn very quickly. And I love vehicles from that era; this Transit is so beautiful (in its way). I love the air vents...
Ответитьlovely van
Ответить@shashelasse Thats also possible , but some old cars or trucks have it the other way around and reverse can be tricky to find , left or right , pushing or puling.
Ответить@shashelasse 99% of all cars from those years are manuel , so you get used to that , its like shifting gears in a Citroen 2cv , the shifter has to be pushed in and out of the dash , but after a few mistakes you'll learn .
Ответить@BR4NDON I see you liked my vid , thanks for watching , Best Wishes for 2011 for you and family and friends , Pablo.
ОтветитьThank you for filming this. Also, your translations were appreciated as well. Very cool van. I didnt know these were made until browsing the museum in Gran Turismo 5. (driving simulator for Playstation 3)
Ответить@miguellss Well me and lots of other viewers love to see it , maybe you can make a vid of it ? Thanks for watching , stay tuned , more to come , greetz from a cold ( -8C )Holland , Pablo.
Ответить@RamblinAround I think in these days there was a competition between Ford USA and ford Europe , in this case (FK) Ford Keulen = Coloigne , Germany
ОтветитьThat is a beautiful van, I can see why it caught your attention. It does look a lot like a VW. Thanks for posting this, I hadn't seen one of these before.
Ответить@Kbrusky15 Same shape , only in this van the engine is in front as you can see.
Ответитьit reminds me a lot of a VW microbus :).
Ответить@elcomcf grandma of the Ford Transits.
