how i use CLIP STUDIO PAINT // tutorial + guide

This has very little to do with the video (which is very nice and insightful, thank you for making it) but it is such a big character design pet peeve of mine when characters have two sets of ears. So I'm just watching this video with my eye twitching because the ears are so distracting. This is SO a me problem and do not mean you're bad at art or that video is bad. I just needed to say this so I can focus on the actually information in the video.

Hey! How can i move a layer? Which shortcut is it? I used to do it with ctrl+clic but now i cannot, i think i ve removed the shortcut and i dont know to put it back, if u can help i would be so thankful :(

Just wondering, not sure if it's been asked but how do you go about printing it? I understand printers use CMYK but how do you convert that over? My JPG CMYK from CSP looks so wonky in colors compared to PNG RGB even though I started the canvas as CMYK :/

I’m not interested in CSP because I prefer free programs, like the heathen I am 🙊 But I have a lot of friends who use CSP who might like this 🥺

In my opinion Clip Studio Paint is like a slightly better version of IbisPaint X

After about 6 months of using CSP I finally know how to reset my window, thank you, I may rest easier

Wait your clip studio paint has like the file bar at the top?? Mine doesn’t have that it’s just the second to top bar? Is that because I’m on Mac, and is there a way to make it appear? I really wanna edit my windows 😭

Hello, I wanted to say thank you for this tutorial. It was very helpful and I could make lots of notes on how to use csp thanks to you. It was easy to follow, informative and light to watch (even for me, who struggles with informatic programs a lot😅). I can't wait to master csp so I can make drawings as pretty as yours!!

I downloaded Clip Studio Paint since January and I barely learned it from then. I finally pushed myself to to get used to it for my future artwork that I got inspiration from others. Thank you this is helpful!!

omg my copy of csp was gifted to me august last year but i still insist on using procreate because of the intimidating interface 😭thank u so much for addressing that right off the bat and for keeping the video simple and concise 💞

congratulations you have successfully taught me how to use gradient maps after literal months of trying to figure it out and I will now be using them CONSTANTLY

Oh my gosh, I just downloaded clip studio paint and I'm still getting used to it, I hope this is helpful. Also I love your videos Lauren, you inspire me so much! ❣️💖

I just finished the video and I honestly didn't know you could hide things, I thought it was a little annoying that the bars were there sometimes so this helped a lot. I often switch between the eraser and the transparent pen depending on if I want the lines to be fully erased or if I want them to be kind of transparent, and it's really nice to choose instead of turning the opacity down like I used to!
