Amazing progress :)
I practice drums since the beginning of November and your video gave me some extra motivation. Let's groove the reality
Well done, I admire you and I hope to play drums with the same discipline like you
ОтветитьOK...... That was cool!!! Congratulations!!!
ОтветитьI bought my 10 yr old daughter a drum set because of this video. I hope she plays like you when she grows up
ОтветитьIm Inspired
Ответить👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Ответитьdamn you're gonna be good!
Ответитьwow, one week!. OK I'm hopefully just about to be on a journey too. Bought sticks 20 years ago and a practice pad. Thats it..... 10 years ago got a book "4 Way Coordination"... still nothing happening, this month got Snare drum stand and bigger practice pad, and double bass foot pedals. OK, let's get started, you've inspired me!
ОтветитьKeep it up! I hope you're learning and practicing your rudiments, which are the building blocks of drumming. Practicing and getting better never ends, so you're only going to get better with time. I would recommend that you hold your sticks a bit closer toward the tip. It looks like your grip is too far back. It might help you to have a more "balance" grip, and it would make certain rhythms a bit easier to accomplish. Rock on, drumgirl!
ОтветитьNice! Keep drumming!
ОтветитьNice! Great Progress.
ОтветитьImagine what everyone watching this could accomplish in our lives if we followed her level of focus and commitment. 🙌 🥁
Truly inspirational stuff, DG. Applies to life (as well as percussion). 🍻 ❤️
Good job! Try holding your sticks at their balance point. I think you hold them a bit too far back. Balance them on your middle fingers, put your thumb down the stick and grip it with your finger, right there at the balance point. It really helps with a lot of things especially with easing the stress on your muscles. Also getting an electronic kit is a brilliant way to get better as you don't have to worry about sounding terrible if you mess stuff up.
Ответитьthis video makes me so happy
ОтветитьThis is amazing, EXCELLENT work keep grinding and inspiring
ОтветитьThis was great- crazy improvement in such a short time!
ОтветитьThe confidence and actual joy of playing on your face at one year is actually wonderful to see!
ОтветитьWow! this is awesome! I'm a guitarist myself with some drumming experience but i recently bought my daughter an Alesis electric drum set to practice an instrument. Of course, her musical inclination comes from me so i have no doubt that she will pick up on it fairly well. Anyways, my wife has really wanted to take up playing them as well. She doesnt have the best rythym but i think with a little work, she can get there. She just got a little discouraged on how far from precise she was but still had fun. I am going to show her your Glow-Up so she can see how practicing would really help her. I LOVE seeing videos like this! Keep up the good work!
ОтветитьIt's amazing how much just your confidence behind the kit improved in just 4-5 months. Props for playing live after just half a year of learning. Idk if I would've been brave enough to play live that early on.
ОтветитьGrapevine Fires :]]
ОтветитьGreat job. Love this video.
ОтветитьThis is awesome, amazing progress in a year!
ОтветитьGood job on drums, but lmao imagine wearing masks during a show. Sheep
ОтветитьHello this is inspired me to push myself , I have only drum pad, I dunno if drumpad will be a good Foundation for me .. wish i could play in E Drums to.
Ответитьi don't play drums but i already like how you sounded when you were just beginning not more than the sound at the what you are capable, but i might just be simple minded
Ответитьpretty awesome...
ОтветитьYou got fast really quick impressive
ОтветитьThis was so cool to watch! I have wanted to learn to play the drums since I was a teen (I'm 30 now) and I never learned because I could afford classes or a drumset. I truly regret not choosing percussion when I took band class in middle school. I chose trombone and didn't really enjoy it like I thought I would have. It was too late to switch to percussion at that point.

ОтветитьYou go girl! I'm learning as well.
ОтветитьAwesome! I have a drum kit arriving next week (Roland TD-07DMK), great to see how far one can progress in a year!
ОтветитьThis is fantastic! How much do you practice? I'm envious.
ОтветитьThank you for recording your journey. At 55, I'm really thinking about getting an electronic drum set to start playing again. I last played when I was in 6th grade! You're doing really well in a short period of time!
ОтветитьThat is absolutely wonderful. You have come so far in a year. Well done. Keep growing, keep having fun.

ОтветитьAll I can say is WOW!!! You're an inspiration to even an old fart drummer like me : )
Ответить🤯 Holy shmoly, what is there to say that hasnt been said?
Simply outstanding in every way, the speed of progress is mind-boggling and overall truely inspirational.
Thank you for sharing your journey, I need to step up my game. 🤣👉👉
was that SOAD that you tried to play at the beginning ?
ОтветитьNice job!
ОтветитьYou achieved amazing results! I saw you especially improved a lot on the third month and again on the seventh one. I have three questions, though: 1) What software are you using to practice? I'm referring to the one you showed on March, 4th 2022. 2) Are you using drumless tracks? In case you do, what's a good source for getting them? I've just got a Roland kit similar to yours and I'm about to start practicing! 3) At which point in time did you start taking drum lessons with a teacher, if you happened to learn from one? Congratulations, I'm really impressed and you have earned a new subscriber! Hope you keep improving! Cheers!
ОтветитьAwesome!! How did you learn?
ОтветитьA natural musician! Great work!
