What to expect from the Willow Grove Homecare service | Information for service users

This video is made for young people receiving care through the Homecare service from the Willow Grove Adolescent Unit here in St Patrick’s Mental Health Services, particularly if you are coming into the service for the first time.

We hope this video helps you and your parents or guardians to know more of what to expect during your care and how to make the most of the service.

At Willow Grove, we aim to provide you with person-centred and supportive care, but also to ensure you have the information and tools to make your experience of receiving care at home as beneficial for you as possible

You will be provided with practical information about Homecare when you start the service, but please ask your team or nursing staff at any time if you have questions we can help with.

Do remember that there are different activities that you can get involved in while you are in Homecare and taking part in these can be very beneficial to your mental health recovery.
