This song speaks in many messages. It not only speaks of being in love with someone so far away and knowing their love is strong enough that not even distance can break it, but also tells the love of someone who you had once lost and knowing that your love, your memory of that person is so strong that not even death could break such bonds.

I had lost my grandmother(father's mother) to cancer when I was 8 or so and back then I couldn't tell what loss was until a few years later. When I turned 15, I lost my grandfather(father's father) to the same illness, and that felt worse than anything I had ever felt before due to my love for him and the regret of never understanding the wisdom he shared with me until after his death. And then this past winter... I lost my other grandmother(mother's mother) to dimensia. It was just as bad as the pain inside of me felt like I never wanted to see the light of day again as I felt I couldn't bear to lose another person. But being with the people I still have, it makes healing from the pain better to deal with. Hearing this song, I still remember all the great memories I had with those with whom I still have and whom I've lost.

Silvervale, thank you for not only making this heartwarming song... but for reminding me of the love and hearth I have for the people and home I still have.
