Kanji's Hiking Adventure

Sweet Kanji is in need of a special home where someone is home to help him with his separation anxiety. Although Kanji is not in an ideal home in foster care, he has made a lot of progress while in rescue. When we first got him he couldn't walk a straight line on a leash and appeared scared of his surroundings. With daily hikes with confident Shibilngs, Kanji is not only walking well on a leash but enjoying his adventures!

Must meet these requirements
1. Someone who is always home (at least for next 6 months to work on SA)

2. No restrictions in the house (gating in one part of home will set him off and take hours to de-escalate)

3. No pets preferred (or must meet a friendly dog - ok with large adults no puppies but also not small dogs)

Note SA is an issue that takes time and patience. Due to his puppy-aggression, we are unable to make a long-term commitment to his behavior modification as some of the resident dogs in house are not accepted by Kanji and this results in frequent stressful separation. We are happy to discuss his issues in great detail with serious applicants. Kanji LOVES people and will want to cuddle and kiss you all day long. With the right family and environment, we know he will thrive!
