ОтветитьIs folate safe for those with ckd stage 3
ОтветитьMy mother, 74yrs, was prescribed with folic acid and she started to have delirium for 3 months until i decided to discontinue folic acid and she recovered and now coming across this information i think she was supposed to get natural version methyl folate 😢
ОтветитьVery informative. Thank you. By" Dr. Kerr, PH.D.
ОтветитьHi Dr Berg, thank you for sharing your advice with us, I am in the first trimester, can I start taking methylfolate without my dr advice and what’s your recommendation dose ?
ОтветитьDr. Berg, thank-you very much, do u sell these vitamins on ur website? Thank-you so informative xx
ОтветитьChoose your methylfolate dosage with caution, together with your doctor to prevent over-methylation. Taking too much methylfolate can cause side effects, such as severe anxiety, nausea, insomnia, migraines, irritability, achy joints, headaches, and more.
Ответитьthank you for the b12 recommendation! I have a deficiency and am trying to get pregnant. best to you and your family. x.
ОтветитьCan you recommend a good brand folate to increase white blood cell?
ОтветитьThank you, Doctor Berg. I started taking Methylfolate and I have no itchiness or any sort of visible allergy as I have in case of folic acid. Please continue the work you do.
ОтветитьExcellent, thanks! 👍

ОтветитьThank you so much for sharing your knowledge
ОтветитьHow to lower folate?
ОтветитьHow much Folate should we take?
ОтветитьI had a medical genetic test and it said I had that gene. I’m now on a good methyl folate vitamin with b complex. The medicine genetic tests are really helpful.
ОтветитьThank you for this Dr Berg ❤
I've just been diagnosed with low folate and appreciate your advice ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
thx doctor! could you make more videos on folate in food pls!
ОтветитьHy thank you for showing your health video. Im from uk and im trying too find the source naturals true vegan methylcolabamin supplements but all i can find is source natural true vegan cherry lozenges 1mg. I reallly want the one you have told too buy. Plz help me
ОтветитьWhat about Quatrefolic?
ОтветитьDr Berg, I read that there is folic acid in your Nutritional Yeast. Is it actually folate?
ОтветитьThanks Doctor 👌
Ответитьis FMF and MTHFR connected one to another?
ОтветитьWhat should be the dose of L-Methylefolate?
Ответитьso why are all the major health institutions as well as 23andMe saying the research does not support MTHFR variant hypothesis?
ОтветитьThank you Dr. Berg you truely are a life saver
ОтветитьThankyou for this information ❤
Ответить23andMe DO NOT test for this mutation (contrary to what Dr.Berg suggests)
(from their website) 'Although we recognize there is interest in reports on the following topics, 23&Me reports are not available on the following topics.
MTHFR analysis, such as a targeted mutation analysis, methylation analysis or detox profile
Copy number variations (CNVs), balanced rearrangements and mosaicism
Trinucleotide Repeat Disorders
This is bad information. Many can't tolerate methylfolate. I have the basic mthfr mutation and methylfolate which I'm "suppose" to take makes me have horrible shortness of breath at any dose. Some need folinic acid instead. Methylation requires way more insight that just saying synthetic bad, methyl form good.
ОтветитьWow reading my son's med report and significantly reduced folic acid. Of course I'll get the correct stuff now tks to Dr. Berg
Ответить😷😃🥑
ОтветитьWhat’s a good Methylfolate to give my 3 and 6 year old
ОтветитьSo would there be an average amount of Folate & Methyl B12 to take or would this be a case by case study? T.I.A
ОтветитьFor years I’ve had low hemoglobin that didn’t get better with iron infusions, vitamin b12 injections, prescription synthetic folic acid and lots of red meat and even liver. I also had lots of trouble putting on weight because of low appetite, on top of that insomnia and adhd symptoms.. They even prescribed EPO injections (also knows as doping) to stimulate my body to produce red blood cells. It was either that, or blood transfusions, but my hemoglobin was just a fraction too high for blood transfusion..
But even the EPO injections didn’t quite work, it did do something, but very little, so I quit those too.
Then I started taking methylfolate and this for me has been the KEY for succes. Every symptom improves immediately, my mood, sleep, appetite, my hormonal health. My body finally produces red blood cells without any need for EPO injections or iron infusions. I know it’s the folate because when I run out, or simply forget to re order, I get my symptoms back. It makes me feel like a normal human.
The mutation makes it impossible to process out the folic acid synthetic junk, which clogs the liver and prevents it from processing the good folate. 20-40% of the population are being p0isoned to deàth, and pregnant women are getting autistic fetus'.
ОтветитьI've heard that it is best to take 2 forms of folate: methylfolate and calcium folinate for pregnancy. Could you please explain? Thank you
ОтветитьWhat if your the opposite and you have 2 blood tests, six months apart, and both times Folate is very high? The B12 level and iron are normal
ОтветитьI love you Dr. Berg however I respectfully disagree with your recommendation to ever use "23 and me" for anything. Bad news. I encourage you to look into it and it's questionable background.
ОтветитьThank you, Dr Berg.
Without your videos, I’d probably be in much worse shape. You are helping me figure out this puzzle of a body.
I grew up eating a lot of bread and pasta. Now, I am suffering for it, I realize.
My grandmother had Alzheimer’s and my Mother died of intestinal cancer. Both, ate lots of grains and sugar. When my middle son was born he had Supra ventricular tachycardia… bad electrical system of the heart…. Probably, because I was not getting enough natural folate and he and I both, did not have enough B12.
All of this, most likely because of MTHFR gene.
Just because you tolerate the synthetic vitamins, doesn’t mean you should.
During pregnancy do you recommend taking a prenatal with folate? Or try to just get it in my food?
ОтветитьMTHFR is so important to know! I have been healed of asthma due to learning about it and doing the right form of B9, healthy diet, exercise...what a relief. Also, 23andM3 gives you the raw data which you then have to send to another sire for translation. Search for strategene or Dr.Ben Lynch.
ОтветитьNot surprised Dr's prescribe folic acid for pregnant women knowing its synthetic, bastards
ОтветитьWow this is so important I have the gene defect I want to turn it off with the proper folate What’s the proper B vit no synthetic ! Thank you you’re saving people
ОтветитьMake sure not to take too much methyl folate. I went way overboard taking up to 4 mg and then was so restless and couldn't sleep. Luckily it is water soluble and you can take B3 Niacin to counteract teh overmethylation.
ОтветитьWow I didn't know 😮
ОтветитьFolate, folic acid and folinin are 3 different things… folic acid doesn’t hurt, it’s just less effective if you have the polyphormism
ОтветитьIs there way I can incorporate these into a natural hair oil ?
ОтветитьNo wonder b12 never did anything for me
ОтветитьDr. Berg, I forgot I had saved this video weeks ago. I have RA and take methotrexate, 2.5 mg ea week. Recently there was a change in my rheumatologist and he put me on Folic Acid which I was not prescribed by my previous rheumatologist. My hair sheds constantly. I stopped taking the prescribed Folic Acid since I deduced this supplement may be causing my hair to shed like I had a dog in my home. Should I let my body reset before I try the L-Methylfolate. I was not having any issues before and was diagnosed with RA 4 yrs ago. My hair has thinned out considerably. I’m so upset about this. My health is great aside from RA which is totally manageable. I’m very blessed.
ОтветитьI used folic acid during my 2 pregnancies almost 9 month. Kids are completely healthy but after 2nd child I got migraine. Then I fixed my migraine eating low carb and zero sugar.
