That was lots of information. Video is good media to tell what needs to be know but bad for trying to learn it. Is this all being told somewhere or is it just based on experience?

English is not my native language and while I understand it quite well, I can't remember and learn complex things by just hearing them without thinking everything through.

i love syndicate but ive kinda just been blindly choosing options and not utilizing it properly and ive still came out with big earnings.. honestly its my favorite mechanic in the game

Here after dying from catarina's slam move. Then when I got back in the garden died two more times to those exploding skeletons that are hardly visible from all the green in the arena.

I love syndicate. I didn't know that rivals was better. And probably won't do the boss fight going forward. I just hope I get decent folks for scarabs

lmao. they are hiding "those ladies shooting lasers from their boobs in act iii" hahaha. thats the whole purpose of their research.

So on moving members around; I accidentally swapped a rank 3 member to the wrong division.
It seems the only way to move him back is if I get lucky and am allowed to swap or completely degrade him through 3 prison terms.
After he loses all ranks he can appear at every event and executing for the right division will move him to that division.
Is that correct or am I missing something?
These changing options are so annoying, you think you're doing something but then it changes and you brick your syndicate :(

Man this mechanic is so frustrating... I really want to get a hang of it but i just don't understand how to keep or shuffle members of the syndicate. This guide helped to clarify a lot though, thank you!

I watch the video like 3 times and this stuff makes no sense to me in the game. I only wanted scarabs for sulphite farming, but not going through this nonsensical bullshit no no. I guess I will just buy them.

Thanks. This is very helpful. I've been doing her missions to unlock recipes but really had no idea how the board worked. Out of all the previous leagues they were all really intuitive and could easily be figured out after a few interactions with them. But this one is pretty involved and wasn't making sense to me.

In my opinion Catarina is one of the best designed boss fights in the game. That deadly slam attack of hers always gets me if I haven't played her in a while. It seems she gets that ability earlier now as I see it frequently.

I am confused about 1 thing catarina does: she is glowing green, jumps to the air (inmune to damage) and jumps down on you to 1 shot you.

Excellent guide. I thought maybe you could've also mentioned some member placement strategies. One that I have in mind is doing just 2 of 4 safehouses, putting just two members that you want in each of them and putting the rest in the trash safehouses, that you never run.

This "guide" suffers the same illness virtually every other guide suffers: How do you ACTUALLY do stuff?
You only explain the rules of the game.
I'm not getting good at a board game by reading the manuel.
How do we ACTUALLY switch members around effectively, how do we keep them there, how do we ensure getting the rewards we want every rotation?
A for effort. I knew all the rules already and I still don't know how to do betrayal effectively and sadly, this video didn't help one bit.

Just wanted to drop a comment to say thanks. This really helped me put with the Syndicate. Had no idea about the safehouses or anything. Just been blindly hitting the cards. Got a much better idea now.

I am probably one of the most knowldgable members of the Community when it comes to Betrayal. Why am I watching it? xD

So, I don't need to kill all the criminals in a research objective, just the one in the final room?

This always feels like a homework assignment, I prefer just unplugging and zooming. I usually pick builds that can do all content in under 20ex. Worse case just get my tryhard friend to give me all his shit when he quits the league.

My syndicate missions take days, sometimes a week to get even anywhere close to what I want. Usually I'm forced into a corner with them and just have to run what I have. Most of the time Its complete rng. You have a little control over where members go and it just depends on what options you are offered. I find Jun missions the most scarce of all master missions. Even with a fully passived Haewark Hamlet and a titanium watchstone with the 23% chance for Jun missions I've had maybe 1 out of god knows how many maps. Instead I have to rely on my daily master missions. GGG have straight up nerfed the shit of Jun missions spawning on map completion across the whole board.
