The music score in this film, especially this chase scene at the end by Sylvester Levay, is the best of the 80s' film music scores in my personal opinion, right behind Faltermeyer and Moroder! :)

This scene DISTURBED ME as a kid. I was particularly sensitive about things being destroyed (especially things that resembled toys or were toys) and so when my mom showed me this scene, I couldn’t hear or think of the word “mannequin” for weeks otherwise I’d get immediate flashbacks 😭

Honestly, he was the best thing about that movie. "Mine's Bigger Than Yours Is." 😂

Idk if that was done with safety gear or using camera tricks. But no way in hell Id trust my life (or at least my lower torso) in the hands of others just to get this shot.

My friends and I walked to the mall every friday and saturday and ate at ponderosa and watch mannequin until it went out of the movies. I used to remember the number but now I'm an old man, but I think it was at least 20 times! We loved this movie...and blind date too. We used to do a double feature lol. But Hollywood was simply the best.

Sad how no one cared for Jonathan's safety or death even though they couldn't see Emmy come to life, they were just gonna let Jonathan get ground up. Don't be a bystander. Helpout if you see someone in trouble. Don't just stand there staring at them. Help them get the thing or person they are pulling, turn off the chipper. Do something constructive. :)
