I owned and enjoyed an Evo 7 at in 2001-2004. A real blast. However, I can see how the Evo 9 would be a more satisfying car to own. Mitsubishi seems have taken all the weaknesses of the 7 in developing the 9.

Did you pull the engine just for a thorough cleaning and new seals? I am in a rut on my 9. Just did a lot of upgrades now every shop I go to wants to rebuild my engine.. It had one owner and I grabbed it at 90,000m.
