When are the people that produce and shoot musicians in live performances going to figure out that when the are soloing, any fan of the artist or instrument do NOT want to see the backs of other band member's heads, or the other band members in general...or even the soloist's face in close up?!!! We want to see them PLAY THEIR INSTRUMENT!!!! So if you want to show their faces, at least shoot wide enough to get the full instrument as well. And during a solo, drop the artsy crap and just shoot the solo, and the entire instrument...not just the left or right hand, or whatever! Just think!! Think about what a fan wants to see, not your artistic vision! They missed some extraordinary runs by B.B. during this solo by trying to be artsy...and I'll GUARANTEE that every real fan of B.B. and guitar are fuming whenever they watch this! And, if you're the producer, maybe try to find a moment with the artist or music director and get some notes about the set list and songs. Then produce it and shoot it appropriately! It's really not rocket surgery!!!
