I'm from the Midwest, up until maybe 10, 12 years ago (when Chief Keef became popular)...only people I ever seen with locs were Jamaicans, white stoners and famous people. Mostly white stoners so this isn't so uncommon imo

Nooo this isn’t the right wayyyy now their stuff and have no movement. You should try the comb coil method but it probably won’t work with ur hair unless you have type 4 hair or type 3c or 3b . So there’s other ways but the comb coil method is the best as ur hair will move and the other ways just look like fake synthetic locs imma be real

I always wanted locs. But I have 2b hair. It’ll twist and stay in place with a little tease. But I can’t help but think of all the days I’m going to want to wash and untangle my hair, give my self a bouncy blow dry, and have it tickling my skin in the wind. Faux locs mad me so itchy. Figured real hair doesn’t itch as much. Maybe when I’m 60 lol
