i9 10900K vs i9 11900K vs i9 12900K vs i9 13900K - Test in 8 Games

The 13900k is only 5% faster but needs 20% more energy. What a bad CPU Generation.
The 12900k is the best of these 4 kind.

My 10900k hurts watching this

i9-11900K 8 cores running at 5.3GHz(using OC TVB. LLC, temp, voltage were tested well and optimized manually) with DDR4 3733MHz with 42.4ns latency, my PC is still a performance beast in 2023.

I have a 10900k and from this video I don't see a real reason to upgrade yet. All those results are more than playable. If anything, I can just wait a year or two then put a 14900k in for even better results.

I am thinking of going from 165 Hz to 180 200 240 for my ROG SWIFT PG279Q 1440P 165Hz IPS GSYNC WQHD 27 2019 so I can get mote fps with i9 10900k

11gen is a failure

There's something wrong with the test system. I get better frame rates in Cyberpunk using the same settings, except quality DLSS instead of balanced, and playing at 1440p instead of 1080p. Also I only have a 3080 and 10900k. I can't believe that the 10900k bottlenecks a 4090 so hard that it brings it below 3080 levels😐 WTF? 🤨

I don't understand this at all. The CPU usage of 10th and 11th gen is low. Its not like they are a bottleneck. I know that these chips are capable but are being held down by intel's shady SOC software, so that the consumer would get the newer chips and discard the older ones.

a mere 7800x3d beats all these chips in gaming tbh.

Raptor lake is just rebrand lake with more power draw and a few more frames. 12th gen is that sweet spot. Though I do run manually tuned Hynix A die D5 @ 8400MTs on my 13900K. Can't get those speeds with a 12900k.

I ordered a i7 11700k and the seller actually packed me a i9 11900k. Now I don't know I should feel blessed or mad. After this benchmark, I'm even more confused.

The 13900K is overclocked, so the difference is a bit exaggerated. I run my 10850K at 5.1 Ghz and my 12900k at 5.1 Ghz, with two cores as 5.2 Ghz.

my cpu : i9 11900K

It was a big mistake.

Its 1080p so I believe there is much lower differences at higher resolution like 3440x1440. I’m on i9 10 gen with rtx 3080ti and probably will jump into next gen cpus and gpus

12th and 13th need to run ddr4 3600mhz to be clearly fair, that z 500/600 series mobo feature+ddr5 6000mhz also a slight portion pcie nvme gen4 help them boost framerate. if u talk about all future feature gen boost its different matter, this test purely fair tbh

The big dogs in the room are Cyberpunk 2077 and MSFS 2020 at 4K. Would love to see a video comparing CPUs and those games at 4K.
