What’s you favorite technique to help visualize the shot? I’d love to know!
ОтветитьLove your videos!
Thank you!!
Thank you. Your videos are inspiring.
ОтветитьI like to thank you Simon ! I just started watching a lot of your videos and really like listening to you and great teaching ! Thanks a lot. I hope to be as good as you someday.
ОтветитьI'm into my third day of photomaking and i actually improved by watching his video's.
ОтветитьYou should do a live stream where we send you photos and you give us some critique on how to improve. I'd tune into that!
ОтветитьAs I listen and watch Simon in this video I'm aware that I've heard a lot of this before, scattered among magazines and books, across over 20 years. Nobody / no publication made the info as 'digestible' as he does. It just makes so much sense. He's including so much, and with appropriate emphasis. Well done!
ОтветитьExcellent..
ОтветитьWhen i was twelve i wanted a camera for my birthday that was 58 years ago.
You iether have it or you don't but you will know that it is apart of you if this is what you want out of life.
A wildlife nature photographer is a protector of life not a hunter of death.
Wow, this was a real masterclass. I loved this video. I will try to watch it several times and put it into practice, of course.
ОтветитьYour photos are beautiful and inspiring. I have a canon rebel t3i, and have felt like I will never be on the same page as people that have better set ups. Since watching your videos, I have completely flipped that mindset. I now have the power of genuine knowledge and I feel confident in what I’m able to deliver with exactly what I have. Best regards Simon!!!
ОтветитьI use the 1987 canon 100 to 300 F/5.6 zoom non L on my 77D for landscapes and some portraits. I like 135 mm . I was shocked quite a different look, good fun.
ОтветитьI always ask God to help me, and often it seems that indeed He helps me take a better shot. All of a sudden I get an idea or a prompt to duck, change my angle, etc. But this tip will also help me. Thanks!
ОтветитьMore than one skill to master..... but think in 3D is the start.
ОтветитьCeemon Dontremauh... ... de man knows where to stand..!!
Ответитьvery very informative
ОтветитьThank you for the content. Its encouraging and motivating and provides a definite way
ОтветитьHi Simon, Could you explain further on how to properly control and change white balance. I tend to just have it centered and didn't understand the strength of this tool.
ОтветитьSo inspiring! I want to get right out there!
ОтветитьTop notch video. I will use what you have said to take better pictures. Thanks ❤❤❤
ОтветитьLove the 100 details philosophy! and your generosity.. We need excellent tools, having the highest quality requires gear to be accurate,, BUT, photographers generally have too much gear affection, others make attempts at credibility by gear lists... to put this is context, i never saw Gordon Ramsay list the brand of stove or pans, on the menu.
ОтветитьWell stated! I always enjoy revisiting some of these subjects to see how others present their thoughts, for often I glean something new. I sometimes find I need to back up and regroup even after decades of photography, for I occasionally cannot see the forest for all the trees... {chuckling} I often knoooow there is an image/composition in a scene but have to figure out exactly what it will be with the cards that nature has dealt. Most of the time it works well, though there are times when I have to chuckle later when I realize my brain needed to reboot before shooting. lol Thanks for sharing your content, for it helps even those that are seasoned to think outside the box. :)
ОтветитьSupportive videos ❤ thank you Simon!
ОтветитьThanks again ❤
ОтветитьYears ago I would build sets for movies, tv, commercials and would stand behind the DOP watching light the scenes and getting an idea of composition and the dance of light and shadow but would be unhappy with my camera results. I feel I have learned more from you in a couple of days than I've absorbed over yrs. I'm blown away by the quality and thought you've put into your art. Thank you .
ОтветитьI really enjoy all of your content. I don't send very many comments, but this is one I really like your delivery and sensible approach to just becoming a better photographer. With time and practicee we should all become good at this awesome hobby. Thanks a ton!!
ОтветитьBrilliant presentation! But don't take my word for it, just look at the exquisite images Simon created and used to demonstrate his ideas. In photography, as in so many other things, proof is in the pudding!
ОтветитьStarted with your iso vid and got hooked immediately.someone who actuallly teaches photography at last.
ОтветитьFantastic info! Thankyou

ОтветитьTruly outstanding video.
ОтветитьMaybe, just maybe this is the one video I should watch 20 times in a week, after that, once in a while until my hard head is able to absorb the many lessons in it.
ОтветитьSound advice; but what do you expect from a master?!
ОтветитьThank you once again for another incredibly helpful video. I’m addicted too your knowledge! Each time I watch your videos, I take notes and add it to my cheat sheet. Then I try your tips the next time I head out with my camera.
As a teacher, I commend your excellent instructional style. You really have a great way of explaining concepts including visuals to help it all makes sense.
