This movie was average but, and it’s a big but, this, in my opinion was truly one of the most spine chilling moments in any horror movie I’ve watched and I’ve watched a lot.

Notice how they came in separate doors emphasizing how trapped they really were

So you're telling me the mom didn't even think about calling or video chat with the grandparents? Or better yet, when they first got there, she didn't speak with them?

The mom's reaction was so real... She had to calm herself to react it so her children could calm and think straight to think what to do. If I were her, I would do the same thing. But not that long, I guess 😂

I feel like they could've easily made up some excuse to go outside, like they needed to get something. But I'm sure the "grandparents" would've found a way to prevent them from doing that as well.

The mother realize her parents are strangers

Nobody knows how they would actually react to this unless it happened to them. There would be such shock and disbelief from the trauma that has just taken place. Your emotions would be all over the place like the contents of a vacuum pouch that's just exploded. You'd have to be effin Liam Neeson to truly be able to remain calm in this kind of situation.

What is truly unbelievable about all of this is that there is no way there would be no interaction between the mother and her parents before and after the kid's arrival. She would have to be the worst mother in the history of bad mothers.

I don't know, maybe I would hang out with them old folks for a little while to see if they come around and make a connection with me. Mr. X

The performance is weird, idk if it's because she's doing it over a Skype call or what but it's strange that she's so calm. Some people write in the comments that her lack of a big reaction is what is scarier but I think she needed to be like 10% more freaked out when she realized what was going on

I was expecting her to say something about them being old and it's natural, that caught me so off guard lol. Somehow I didn't expect that twist at all but it was perfect.
