That's not a full restoration. This is what you do if you want to flip the bike for cheap. Why not call it what it is? Instead of a new sub, you now have one more person who puts your channel on the "do not recommend" list. But hey, at least you got my comment to boost the algorithm.
ОтветитьIt had a really nice patina, tho.
ОтветитьROYAL ENFIELD
ОтветитьWhat did you use for cleaners and paint?
Ответитьvery neat job . truly impressed
ОтветитьI feel happy whem I see those old bikes come to life again...Great restore!!!!
ОтветитьWouldn't call this a classic bike. Its a modern bike with a starter motor, disk brakes, and rpm gauge.
And it's probably the best example of a period in BMW history (70s) when they produced only ugly bikes.
Stunning, fantastic video thank you
ОтветитьHigh pressure !!!!! You destroyed all …
ОтветитьI love the look of this bike.
Just the right amount of patina for a cared-for survivor.
Nice job!
ОтветитьDid you rebuild the engine?
ОтветитьVery good job. Thanks
ОтветитьAmazing job and bike. But the seat? Love the old style seats. Great though
ОтветитьVery impressive work and a great bike
Ответить👏👏👌
ОтветитьHello
Bay City Restorations
Nice result. Well done resetting the hideous seat. Presumably the mechanical restoration of engine, carbs, brakes, suspension, etc was done off camera? Would have been great to see that as well. Wonder why not reuse the original front indicators.
ОтветитьNice to see an old beamer being cared for , shame we did not get to see the engine rebuild, now that would have been worth watching .
ОтветитьWhat! You didn't replace that swingarm boot that was dry rotted! I've seen those aluminum triple tree things break! What no fork brace! Really need to get one, it makes a big improvement! POP RIVETS! really?
ОтветитьI'd like to see a BSA Goldstar restoration.
ОтветитьWow, wonderful job!😊
ОтветитьIt wasn't a restoration - it was a disassembly and cleaning and assembly of an old BMW - but it had nothing to do with a restoration.
ОтветитьI can’t tell you how pleased I was to see you clean the down before starting work , as you should. It drives me insane to see others pull the machines apart, covered in rust, dirt and oil. Nice work 👍, greetings from AUS.
Ответитьأحسنت أخي ❤️🇲🇦
ОтветитьКруто
ОтветитьNo watched it until the end and still didn't like like it , it left me with an horrible feeling inside , the feeling you have when you know your not going to see someone you love ever again !!!! some things are just best left alone.
ОтветитьHonestly I like the bike better in it,s unrestored condition , i would have just made good what needed to be made good, and kept it scruffy , everybody are restoring old BMW into bobbers, flat tracker, or keep them original but turning them into show ponies, the ageing of the bike before you started work on it was priceless but know it,s just the same as any other BMW, sorry just had to say)))
Ответитьjunp that fence this time!
ОтветитьHey Mate nicely done, i couldn't quite see how you cleaned up the motor, did you spray paint it silver?
ОтветитьAmazing work! I believe one of the greatest things someone can do is to take a vehicle that is only and distraught and make it like new again! It’s a talent given by God himself. Fantastic video! Very well done.
ОтветитьAmazing
ОтветитьIt took a lot of work, but the result is great. It would be useful to check the compression pressure of the cylinders so that Internet users can see the full professionalization of the renewal. Congratulations!
ОтветитьRescued :-) thanks god for entusiasts. Well done
ОтветитьExcellent Restoration Work. I would like a video of Old Abandoned Honda/Yamaha/Suzuki motorcycle
.
Hope your catching that soap and cleaner befor it goes down the drain
ОтветитьBMW R80/7
ОтветитьNice!! I enjoyed watching! Inspirational too!
ОтветитьBadass!!!
ОтветитьAbsolutely Beautiful!!
ОтветитьThis is an 800cc BMW Motorbike. From a speed standpoint, most 650cc Japanese motorcycles, like the Yamahas or Suzuki's would win. But, from a Class Standpoint, the R800cc BMW Motorbike is hard to beat for smoothness and reliability. 🤠
ОтветитьExcelente restauración hermosa moto felicitaciones desde frontera santa fe argentina un abrazo
Ответитьthe R80 is worth doing, the R45 and R65 are just rubbish
ОтветитьVery nicely done, this is the sort of bike I would buy “as is” and use as my daily rider.. 🙂
ОтветитьHalp mi
ОтветитьBeautiful job. Looks effortless with you doing it. I know it probably took a full week. Great job
ОтветитьVery nice restoration. Thanks for taking us along.
ОтветитьI had a '72 R50/5. Good little bike. Easy to work on. Simple to clean. But too slow on the freeway. Had a hard time getting to 70-75. So, I traded it in on a 2005 K1200LT. Barish Motor Worken. Designed and Built by riders for riders. Nice restoration. Compliments to you.
ОтветитьI had the 900/. Was a bit ropey but classic. Ended up with a K75’RT . Full faring ABS . Did 25k without a single problem. But at 33k oil pump and water pump on same shaft lost a seal. Engine rebuild etc. then it went for another 25k loved that bike saved my life many times as a London courier. Ps my 900/flat twin still under tarps. Maybe a project
