Tricksters are found throughout mythology and folklore, and though they are never truly evil, they are more than capable of causing harm to those around in them. In Korean mythology, the Dokkaebi takes the mantle of trickster. Often appearing as monstrous goblin-like creatures, the Dokkaebi is a morally ambiguous spirit of the world capable of light magic, bringing blessings as well as curses to those they encounter. Though they change appearance and alignment rather frequently, they always manage to keep storytelling interesting!
