Thank you so much for the video, it was very helpful to prepare my solo trip to Tokyo Disney! I got myself the Winnie the Pooh popcorn bucket haha
ОтветитьIf it’s going to be momentous, we better just live the moment and love the memory.
ОтветитьDespite loving this resort, I do need to add two important things.
(1) There’s no traditional Main Street Bakery, which is jarring, even though the dessert shop between World Bazaar and Tomorrowland has some good pastries.
(2) If you aren’t familiar with American parks, you will be lost. Signage is in English, but the Cast speaks very little English. Most online guides make it seem like everyone is bilingual and everything is in English. That’s not true.
Thanks to work trips which frequently take me to Tokyo, I’m blessed to be able to visit regularly. I know this is impossible for most people because of the long flight and vacation time (the price is actually affordable), but Tokyo is so superior that I don’t bother with the American Disney parks anymore. It makes me sad to type that. I have fantastic memories from how Disneyland and WDW used to be. Now only the Tokyo parks feel like proper Disney.
ОтветитьHow well do they speak English in Tokyo? Like is it well enough to understand the staff or is it hard to communicate?
ОтветитьI was lucky enough to go to both Tokyo Disneyland and Disney Sea In July 2023. They are BOTH freaking A-MA-ZING! Next level parks! The parks were so detailed and perfectly themed. I recommend the night shows at both parks over the day shows. So pretty to see at night. Beauty and the Beast ride was so beautiful. It was SUPER HOT so yes, bring a refillable water bottle and or hat/umbrella for shade.
ОтветитьMy sisters and I went to Tokyo Disneyland in January 1986. We were on an Aussie group tour of Japan and it was a free day so quite a few of us went there. My sisters and I are Australian of Chinese heritage. Every time we queued for a ride we had to put one of our non Asian travelling companions at the front because the staff at the rides assumed we were Japanese and speak to us in Japanese. It was easier than explaining we are not Japanese. I’m sure it has changed a lot since then. We’ve been to Disneyland in Anaheim and Hong Kong too.
ОтветитьI feel like I'm going to need a lot of these videos talking about the do's and donts of international travel. Maybe you need a dFB international site!
ОтветитьDo you get Happy Entry if you stay at the Sheraton?
ОтветитьReally...ALL OF IT! but those rides look so different and a unique way to present those stories, thats what gets me most excited!
ОтветитьDo one for Hong Kong too plsss
ОтветитьThanks for the great video, A.J. But the distance and crowds will keep me away.
ОтветитьHow many days do you recommend spending there?
ОтветитьThe rooms are a bit too much for me to stay in (theming and price-wise) but they are still absolutely beautiful. I stopped by Disney Sea only and it was amazing from the little time I had. Can’t wait to go again one day!
ОтветитьI haven't been to a Disney park in 12 years, the only reason I went then was because it was free and I was able to eat lunch at Club 33 in Anaheim. I thought that I might want to visit Tokyo Disneyland when I go to Japan in a couple of years but after watching this video I have changed my mind. Seems like most of your time in the park is spent waiting in line and trying to make reservations for absolutely everything you want to do from rides, eating, watching shows, etc.
Just doesn't sound like a good time to me.
Disney parks in America really need to learn from Tokyo
ОтветитьI would be afraid the language would be a major hurdle, but it does seem they have English along with Japanese directions. I agree, the app would be most beneficial for the trip. Seems like it would be a worthwhile trip but expensive. Any chance of doing a EuroDisney video soon? Yes, I will die on that hill because I was there when it opened in France. All-American Marching Band!
Ответитьi couldn't disagree more, that 15 min early entry 'Happy Time' is GIANT if you want to ride the major e-ticket attraction (currently soaring at Dis-sea and beauty and the beast Dis-land). Been going to these parks yearly since 2004
ОтветитьI stayed in the toy story hotel last year and it was absolutely worth it. Literally the best hotel I have been in and I wish I stayed there longer. Literally healed my inner child ❤️
ОтветитьYou going to need more than $200 and an extra suitcase for not only Disney stuff but the rest of the Japanese snacks and trinkets to take home
ОтветитьWe switched our trip from April to June for the Fantasy Springs park. We just cannot wait!
ОтветитьAj can you talk about character dining at Tokyo Disney? Thank you!
ОтветитьGreat video! So helpful as to what people can expect at Tokyo Disney! Would it be possible to make a video about the types of hotel rooms and the size of beds in Japan near Tokyo Disney. Those beds do not look like queen beds and an American family of four cannot all fit on 2 full beds, which is what those beds look like. Do resorts there have rooms with queen size beds for 4 people (two teen/adult people in each bed)? Thx! That would be super helpful as I understand hotel rooms in Japan are very different than what we are used to in the states.
Ответитьthe rides
ОтветитьVery awesome parks- I love it there. INCREDIBLE attention to detail. However, the parks are MUCH busier than any of the American parks, and all the time (they are right next to a metropolis with 20 million people, almost all of whom love Disney). Like you will regularly wait hours per day even if you plan it right. Though this was before they came up with being able to buy a spot in line- this was the "paper fastpass" era. The Tink room is awesome indeed- I love how it even has the old-school "Book Fairies", before the movies!
ОтветитьYay! Thank you for a video on Disneyland Japan, it was extremely insightful for our future plans. It’s crazy to see you and your team reach almost 1 million subscribers, totally well deserved. Thank you AJ!
ОтветитьThe time to go is now with the exchange rate being in favor of the dollar.
ОтветитьOh those rooms are amazing! And we get the IKEA Contemporary...ugh...
ОтветитьThank you so much AJ for sharing your trip and tips on Tokyo Disney! One question I had is what time do you get to start booking rides either with premier access or the fast pass way (40th anniversary for now)
ОтветитьThank you for these videos. I’m really curious how Tokyo treats food allergies, being celiac. Disney in the States does such a wonderful job.
ОтветитьI would have liked a bit more info on transfer options between the airport and Tokyo Disney.
ОтветитьAre those beds Full size or Queen size? We are going on a girl's trip with 4 of us and want to make sure we can comfortably share a room.
ОтветитьI don’t know if you’re even see this comment but I was wondering something. Could you do a break down of Disneyland Paris? I’m going in 2024 and I would love a break down of the attractions, and food, etc…
ОтветитьI think I would go broke on all the cool merch!
Ответитьwent to both parks when i studied abroad earlier this year, love that you're covering them! they function very differently but they're absolutely worth the trip out.
ОтветитьDidnt know I live in the US?
ОтветитьI want to experience everything. If you know a trusted travel agency who can do the booking for us please let us know !!
ОтветитьNow those are some properly Disney themed rooms. They put the stateside rooms to shame. The Tokyo Disney Parks are definitely on my bucket list. Gorgeous parks, better customer service and food and excellent merchandise.
ОтветитьYou also keep saying its 10PM EST, but neglect to mention its 10PM the day BEFORE. Japan is roughly 14 hours ahead of the EST.
ОтветитьDo one of these videos for Paris!!!!!!! Love Disneyland Paris
ОтветитьI’m going to Tokyo Disney mid December, so excited!!! 💖
ОтветитьAJ REALLY wants me to go to Tokyo 😂
