ОтветитьAwesome video mate. Thanks for a great breakdown of your gear.
ОтветитьAny links on the hat?
ОтветитьHi buddy, I am planning for solo wild camping, probably after a year, preparing myself from now onwards, I do not have any experience, I saw your videos, you sleep in such open tent, how come you do not fear about any wild animal attack or bite? also have you ever experienced any such thing? may I know your insta id?
ОтветитьNice stuff. I carry a rescue me plb1 and a garmin etrex20 so there's no ongoing fees. Also have a silky gomboy that i love but lately i've been using an agawa boreal 21 and it's got me hooked
Ответитьmost of that seems quite old school and heavy. How much do you carry weight wise in summer and winter. I'm also curious as to using the tarp, as I thought the bugs would have a feast? Do you use it in all seasons?
ОтветитьMy friend you have lovely gear
I enjoyed watching your video
Thank you 🙏 ❤
Fellow Woodsman,
I have one camp pot/pan for cooking food and a metal cup for my hot drinks and sometimes cold drinks. The pot and pan are a combo deal... the pan is the top for the pot and a pan as well. The pot, pan and cup all have fold in handles for packing it away. So I do go with metal for all, to put it over or in the fire for cooking/heating. For drinks that are not hot, I do like to have a bottle or a thermos with cup top for that.
ОтветитьI have 3 knives I love and use plenty. I have Morakniv Companion (for small jobs), Morakniv Bushcraft Pathfinder (for small and medium jobs), and my big chopping knife in place of an axe/hatchet is the Schrade SCHF45 Leroy Bowie knife. I had that one for a few years and have used it alot, and it is still in good condition.
ОтветитьSilky is my brand for folding saws. I started out with cheap folding saws from Canadian Tire store (I'm in Canada) and they don't cut near as good and didn't stay in good condition long. My Silky saws are F180 Pro (fits in my pocket) and BigBoy Pro (for bigger jobs). I love them!
ОтветитьYou may be color blind, the blue is actually purple
ОтветитьTaking 20 grams spoon-fork and that organizer is 300-400 grams? Smaaaart
ОтветитьDose your hat make your head hot in summer ?

Ответить"gear is really personal"
I fully agree, I form a bond with my gear especially my knife and fishing gear... But wow. I've never seen such beautiful and personal gear. That tinder kit especially is so unique and beautiful. Everything is well used and it's clear that it's deeply personalized and thought out.
Lots of thought and practical usage in everything you’ve packed. Nicely done.
ОтветитьGotta say, I don't think I've ever seen anyone rock an Akubra the way you do!
ОтветитьWe’d love to help you create more content! Can we send you a 2.1 ounce tripod adapter with ultralight ballhead? You can turn branches, trekking poles, or even stakes into a fully functional camera tripod. Let us know if this sounds like something worth testing out. Cheers.
