I would love to see you study the art from Vivinos they post animations and does have a team behind them to make the art and even singers for some of the videos they post (I’m referring them and they as i dont know what gender they are they could be a girl or a boy) animations to songs like ‘Suki suki daisuki’

Ive just gotten my first tablet and Krita to start building up my skills. Im looking at this, and while i have used clipping masks this week, I've barely touched many brushes. I dont understand so many things in this that sre quickly covered such as his layering setup. I really want to learn from this. I might not be explaining myself well, I think this is a brilliant video, i just cant pick out what i can take away from it to apply straight away.
Not to mention that i think the most important part i need to make right is the lineart, which isnt covered at all. If i can consistently draw that, then i can move on. But right now i can't draw original lineart consistently, and spend way longer than anyone else trying to use different methods of building the shapes up beneath it so i can get the look right. Then i look at art like this and how they started it, and almost always see them just doing it, no explanation, no planning, they just get it first try. HOW??!

I personally think why he colored certain parts just to change it later is bc since he has an optimized workflow, he incorporates design choices as he works. Just a hunch tho. I enjoy your videos. You are one of the best creators out there for me, although I learned of you only recently. 😁

Okay you should be studying from Japanese artists. Not Koreans or other people from different countries cause even my anime art style is not the same as Naruto.

Although I'm not a professional artist, I sort of learned these techniques over time lol. But for the rough shading and stuff where no fancy layer types were needed, I learned to do so because I got lazy on setting the layer type when drawing lmao

I have a similar process and yet I'm nowhere near as fast and good, the skill issue is strong with this one.

hey just a tip cause i heard you struggled with lighting, normally if the object is 3d if the light hits something right next to it will be a shadow depending on the angle! (this is coming from another artist )
