This is the kind of game that normally used to introduce a gamer to a more mature game style back in the 90's. For me was Blackthorne for the Super Nintendo, I loved that game back then, specially because I was used to play more "childish" games such as Mario World and Donkey Kong Country 😂

What’s interesting is I never really had an issue with the rock level. I got so good at the double jumps that I didn’t really think anything of how stupidly hard that level was with mis-timed jumps.

If only sekiro shadows die twice was more like these retro ninja games only set in the modern day and age with music that is fun to listen to and not developed by fromsoft studios. They have really good games except for me the world they make in these games are disgusting, depressing and full of tradgedy.

That rock level takes me back to the pure rage I felt doing the Mansion of Terror jumps in Double Dragon 2 for NES as a kid.

I was recently introduced to Retroarch and downloaded some roms to play on it, loved Revenge of the shinobi as a kid so downloaded this one as well. Completed it 3 times now and just watching you to see if there's anything I'm missing. I was so surprised as how genuinely enjoyable I found it, I love everything about it.

The Ninja Master (final boss) is not an enemy to close in for melee combat. Keeping away from him and parrying and avoiding his attacks, as well as having plenty of knives are essential.

Just as a confirmation, selecting Normal, Hard or Expert will give you three lives. Selecting Normal gives you a full bar of health, Hard caps it to 75% and Expert caps it to 50%, which is atrocious

It's easier because Musashi mastered more abilities.

I like how after you complete a level it shows a freeze frame of you destroying the boss.

I played this game so many times when it was released and I don't remember having my controls inverted. Gah. It was so long ago. I'm sure the controls were inverted, I just don't recall.

I completed this game before and I did all 7 stages of Shinobi 3: Return of the Ninja 🥷 master and I did this like a true ninja 🥷 and I have true ninja 🥷 skills by completing this achievement on Sonic’s Ultimate Genesis I have and other Sega games in 1 cd 💿 and that’s good times I have with this game. 👍🥷
