It was June 2013 and I was working out the first time I saw him. He was easily the most strikingly handsome guy I had ever seen. Eyes locked for about 2 seconds, then we continued on with our day. I went to another gym in the city and he worked there. I stalled nearby the front desk to chat and the connection was instant. Numbers were exchanged and so began a summer filled with one of the most intense friendships I ever had. Feelings were evident, but suppressed. Both of us knew it was a "forbidden" love blossoming. I left for school, he stayed in the city, I came back twice a month, and things became extremely difficult between us. 3 years later, feelings were expressed from both of us. but I was soon moving away to Texas and he was battling addiction. We stayed in touch as he returned to California, then to Arizona, and back to Kansas for a while. The spark came back but it was dwindling. A couple years have passed since then. I still love him but I've moved on. He crosses my mind daily, but I'm at peace. I go through the last ten years when I hear this beautiful song.

This cinematic creativity was what I wanted for Oceans 8, not the ego driven modelling and MCU humor they displayed. There was depth and class in the styling of Oceans 11-13
