if you have old stud earrings with backings, i believe those can work in place of the thumbtack/push pin

I usually fill bottle caps and glue a safety pin on the back

I just got a batch of pin backings and had a dilemma what to use as the base for my pictures

Another thing you can try for backings is a safety pin!! With a bit of reinforcements they usually stay on (I add a few pieces of glued ribbon to ensure there is more surface area incase the glue breaks from the pin) but I love the idea of using tape!! Super cool!!

P.s you can always use safety pins, forthose who have concerns
