I think I have a bug where it wont let the lava come out no matter what I try with the wheel/lever

Edit: I reloaded a save from a bit before then and when I got back it worked correctly. Thanks !!

For some reason i can never make the lava come out a second time

tried this strat. didn't work out for me so well. the boss always goes for a character other than the one that pulled agro on it. :/
