If you want a cheaper end keyboard like this, just save for the rk61.

hey pro tip you can take switches off with a screw driver or even a scissor flat screwdriver works the best and if you have unresponsive keys remove a switch from your numpad or someplace you dont use and switch it out for the one you do use clean all the dirt from the pcb under it also

Yo im not that into keyboards, I can't tell the difference between most keyboard sounds but my got that stock keyboard sounds like ass holy... I'd rather play with a cheap membrane keyboard than listen to that

You could have just resoldered the hotswap sockets, unless you didn't have the time

I mean, you probably could have soldered the socket back in by soldering to a bare trace or something, but I wouldn't want to do it either.

I just bought a new keyboard, it was the "Keychron C1". I wanted to mod it to make it sound good and then I would keep that for as long as possible. Turns out I don't need to, IT'S ALREADY GOOD OUT OF THE BOX!

The best mechanical keyboard I own happens to be the cheapest one I've ever bought. I paid 30 BUCKS for my Aukey 65% keyboard from Microcenter. I realize that I may have gotten it on sale but, still. It's a really decent keyboard for the money and I use it all of the time.

@HipyoTech I just got this exact key board in this color. I have a 50$ budget to build this keyboard. Is it worth it? Or should i just wait till I have a bigger budget?
