I'm a new player, is it advisable to craft better weapons? Especially in low rank and village. Or is it better to feel the monsters out before going to high rank?

Even easier and better: get the black belt S armour set which is free then get the defender weapons which only cost some bones which you get naturally

I wish game actually gave you some prompt about those armors and also defender weapons. First time playing MH ever, I chose them because it felt like the obvious choice due to numbers. I couldn’t get it why there are so much better than anything else so googled, and only then learned it’s to quickly skip content to get to Sunbreak. As a noob I developed a bunch of bad habits because of this. Muscle memory of a beginner got filled with bad behaviours. Re-learning now because once you hit higher ranks where it’s no longer OP, all bad habits become painfully visible if you’re a complete noob like me.

Been playing MHR for about a week now; idk how to use silk attacks, how to ride monsters, how to capture them or any of these tips. Somehow still managed to get to lvl 4 quests… I can’t beat umm lol

Why use ore dualblades over bone ones, bone 2 does 110 damage, but the 2nd ore blades do 90 ?
