I'm a new player, is it advisable to craft better weapons? Especially in low rank and village. Or is it better to feel the monsters out before going to high rank?

Really bad advice with the armour for new players imo. Starting the game like that is going to make the game way harder later on because they won't be focusing as much on learning to get better at it because they will have been relying on tanking all the hits with their armour.

I personally got the iron sword before even watching this vid, but ill be honest i didnt realise about the armour, just went ahead and crafted great jaggi set and worked fine for me, fought up to great baggi so far, but think ill switch up to the supplied armour, not for armour advantage, but for the gathering bonus you mentioned, should speed early game up ALOT

I did this area. Was like ah should be fine. Then it was like I fought a ton, gathered a ton, was super super overwhelmed, never changed my weapon so used long sword.
Literally my first experience in MH lol 😂 by the time I got back to camp I was like I NEED TO RELAX TURN THE GWME OFF AND WATCH BEGINNERS STUFF.

I treated it like dark souls but with dinosaurs I died once, doing the ice island area but my gosh it’s a lot on a switch lol
