Crazy, I watched one building video and now suggesting all these craps. YOU wont believe it, 50 year experienced painter could not believe it . And video shows total BS. If you need wheels on painting brush to do painting I dunno. That cloth what you fixed on that paint brush, at that point just better hold that cloth in hands and use it as it is.

Making a sub-par sash brush by cutting the brushes if a regular brush at an angle with an electric razor...
Reuse those caked-beyond-useless rollers that you're kept for no obvious reason by grabbing one of the many old mop heads that you keep hanging around for no obvious reason...

As a painter i would like to ask.. Who has time to build all that nonsens. Buy new brushes and rollers the customer pays... And a taped off wal or ceiling is ALWAYS much tighter painted than doing it out of the hand + its faster.

Some of these "hacks" are more work that worth whatever the time saved is worth. Just buy angled brushes...and don't get me started with the drilling, etc. Too much work.

Paint brushes and rollers are dirt cheap to buy so I wouldn't have patience to do any of this

(1) save $ & time = buy thick microfiber fabric vs cut up the mop heads, unless you really have old ones+fabric clean enough to utilize.

(2) supply+time: viewers of this type of channel likely have many/most/ALL items, no single use ideas & ANY prep time saves 50x fixing time! [install guard/wheel or modify brush x1=reuse. seal nasty brush in plastic x1: wash/change microfiber=reuse]. I've wasted $$ on helper items with quite opposite outcomes. Aim seems to be recycling + up-cycling what's on hand.

(3) subpar outcome worry: even most $ foam/microfiber brushes+rollers leave crap in my work [despite varied efforts to free debris b4 use].. yet even hints of brush strokes make me crazy. Good quality microfiber doesn't shed when cleaning = can't wait to put some on a brush/roller!! I'll save hundreds of $ + fixing hours by killing the single use items that also shed in my work!! 🎉

🤣🤣🤣🤣 if you can't paint. Just dont. The only one of these that is even close to useful is the roller.
