May I ask why you sanded so much of the plastic repairing that small section. This gave me a idea.
ОтветитьLove these videos.
ОтветитьAlways a great video Bill! Love it
ОтветитьOne of my favorite book trilogies!
ОтветитьWell… those sold out quick
ОтветитьAre you sold out of the trilogy books?
ОтветитьMan, I was a thematic artist for years. I've laid down miles and miles of that blue tape. And I still have my tape-gun! You could cut steak with that serrated edge.
ОтветитьShame you didn't do the other paint damage around the top edge of the visor. Good repair though 👍🏻
ОтветитьRepairs, both basic and more advanced, are tragically absent from the list of tutorials prevalent on the internet. Thanks, Bill! More repair tutorials! :D
ОтветитьLooks like you cut/scratched the gloss on the visor when trimming the masking tape. Repair video when?
Ответитьdamn it, those blades won't make it past Australian Customs and I do want a three pack of books
ОтветитьThe 70's porno music is a nice touch.
ОтветитьNicely done, Bill! And I love your new high tech spray booth!
ОтветитьI'm happy to see a repair video! I typically have to repair my cosplays after every con so that wear and tear doesn't build up. It's usually just small paint blemishes, but I'd rather take care of it before it becomes a huge problem.
ОтветитьApparently those went fast!
Ответитьwell, phooey. Trilogy all sold out...
ОтветитьYou should weather all the misfits and make it a selling point haha
ОтветитьI bet you could probably make a Vision Pro prop.
ОтветитьI've been really intimidated with my next cosplan and this sale is a sign that I can do the full body armor. Thank you!
ОтветитьI am a big consumer of refurbished Apple products. My ears perked up at the Misfit book discount; it's a great offer! Obviously, not refurbished books, lol, but always great to have the option to get something valuable at a discount.
ОтветитьThat was such an amazing build originally that I'd thought you'd done it to ship off to one of the companies involved, didn't realize at the time you'd done it for your own collection. :)
ОтветитьThat there is some pretty cool repair work Bill!
Ответитьtrilogy already sold out lol :(
ОтветитьWatching you (and Brit) sand all your props and knowing i dont have the patience for it makes me really understand where people are coming from in regards to my needlework.
ОтветитьSo sometimes I’ll just go back and binge watch older videos you guys have done . The weird thing is only yesterday I rewatched the making of the helmet . I can only imagine the gut renching feeling when you dropped something on it 😖
ОтветитьHoly Chrome! This is the first time I recall seeing an actual punished prop (A hook dropped on a prop) 😂
Thank you, Bill, for this wonderful episode showing how to repair these when it happens to us.
Fantastic work.
Be Excellent, Bill and Britt, and Party on! 🤘🎸😎
love that tip!
ОтветитьYeah, that 2K clear coat is expensive. You have to use it fast before it becomes a paper weight.
ОтветитьBill loves any chance to show off his masking paper tool. And honestly, can't blame him. It's a damn cool tool.
ОтветитьКакой же ты растяпа😅😅😅
ОтветитьIt's good to see you back in the game. Haven't seen you in a while and
ОтветитьSweet. Just order the trilagy
ОтветитьThat's a mighty fine sale you got there! Certainly some worthy deals.
ОтветитьWhat the hell ❓😳❓ i just watched this whole video and didn't realize I wasn't watching evil ted
🤣😂🤣😂
👍👍
ОтветитьYou can expand the life of this paint by putting the can in the fridge. Low temperature will be slowing cure time and you can still use it after the 48h mark.
ОтветитьI'm doing the same with my art book. I think it's really important to sell stuff on discount if they have issues instead of just destroying them. Excellent work
ОтветитьI think I need some more books, to use & put the others in my display case...It really sux when you damage a great prop, I have a few myself.
ОтветитьNicely finished. i guess it is time to get the physical copies of the books to go with my digitals.
Ответить
