She also is the only girl with black/dark stockings, pink tips on the shoes, instead of blue like the rest of the girls, and an easily identifiable realistic hair colour, despite the fact sayori is apparently strawberry blonde

She's the A to their I but only in name. As for self awareness she's definitely the I to their A.

Monika’s hair isn’t even fully tied it has flyaways in the front

let's not forget the socks that natsuki, yuri, and sayori wear are all white which could be read as their innocence of not knowing they're in a game but monika wears black stockings referencing that she's 'corrupted' in a way to the point she knows her life and the lives of those around her don't truly exist

also she isnt in the options when youre writing the poems, her little character isnt shown in the corner like the others

Monika also doesn’t have a japanese name

As also the stockings and the shoes are different from the other girls

Yuri Sayori and Natsuki all have a Japanese sounding name while monika sounds like it came from a different country

Her socks and shoes are different too

When first playing the game, unknown to what her true nature was, i always had the feeling monika stood out suspiciously enough.

I kinda wish she has a different outfit.

No, cuz u can see a photo of monika in the ddlc+ where she has casual clothes

Monika's name is based off monitor as I was told from my sister.

As Monika can control the game too.

And also monika is the only one that has a natural hair/ eye color, green and brown, it makes her seem more realistic since the others girls have more likely colored hair

Monika is also the only one facing directly toward the player at almost all times.

Monika isn't suspicious....

Not to mention the black socks and pink shoes instead of white socks and blue shoes

She also has different colored tights than everyone else

She has different colored eyes from her hair (though Sayori also has this)
She is the class president, which, considering Sayori’s role in Act 4 grants her the omniscience is an important title
She’s the only one to fourth wall break in Act 1 with her ‘Save the Game’ text
She has an incredibly different portrait pose from her typical portrait (you know what pose I’m talking about)
Her name is the only American/English name whereas Sayori, Yuri, and Natsuki are all Japanese
She’s the only girl stated to be ‘Popular’ (MC describes Sayori as him being her only real friend, and he hasn’t even heard of Yuri or Natsuki)
She’s the only girl without anything ‘wrong’ with her other than her awareness- (Sayori’s Depression, Natsuki’s Abuse, Yuri’s Knives)
She is the only girl with a natural hair color
She is the only girl with her name in a song in the soundtrack
She is considerably the least fucked up in Act 2
And, most obviously, she is the only girl to not be dateable before Act 3.

monika has flat bangs while the rest of them have hair with swoops (or whatever u call them)

She's also the only one with black thigh socks while the others where white ones

I used to hate Monika either my heart but after i replayed 2 years later i realise the errors of my ways

I truly don’t think the outfit thing is meant to be a sign. Firstly on a normal run you only see 2 girls in other outfits, shoring always and yuri or natsuki depending on your choice.

Monika's socks are also different. As well as her shoes. The other girls have white socks and white and blue shoes while Monika has stockings and white and pink shoes.

Her model is purposefully always directly facing the camera (in game at least), whilst the other girls usually have a side on body either a head still facing the camera. Also I replayed the game recently and she really doesn’t hold back about her being ‘more aware’ than the other girls, being that she talks about how we know better than anyone else in the group about being human, or being more than singular dimensional, stuff like that really shows the artistic dedication and depth of this game. If only we could get a sequel. Because if you read into some of the messages found in the games code, it talks about ways or previous timelines where the other girls were in Monika’s place, or equally aware, and sorta talks about getting those versions memories to the current models to break the cycle or something to that effect. (I mean we see this when Sayori becomes club president and directly addresses the player, meaning perhaps being president in each timeline equals having a higher level of awareness)

Monika also has pink shoes, while the others have blue. And notice that she has every girl's hairstyle in the club.

She has an English name while the others have Japanese names. Also she is the only one who stares at the players. Her socks are also black while everyone else's is black.

Oh and there was also some pretty hidden away times where she breaks the forth walls and deletes everyone and admits to it but that’s just speculation

Also her hair is the most realistic color and she has different socks and shoes and one of those differences is her socks are black!

I also like how the girls have white socks, but Monica does not
