Pro tip for the wings! Use body tape the same color as your skin, the same stuff big peeps use to tape down booba, it'll hold it in place as long as you don't try crazy stunts etc

i think it’s crochet and knit machine, like the cords are chain stitching. ALSO you can dye it like other clothes (just find out the type of yarn so you can match the dye)

That sequin outfit is definitely knit. He's right the strings look crocheted. There's no such thing as a crochet machine, but the rest of the outfit could conceivably be made by machine. If the maker didn't specify handmade, I would assume it's machine knit.

I just noticed you said the dresses seem to cost quite little for how they look, and in reality the original actual prices over on Taobao are even lower. Unfortunately many dresses featured on Devil Inspired do not have as high quality fabrics as one would think either. (I have personal experience ordering from Devil Inspired a few times in the past as well as hearing from other lolitas about their experiences, as I am in that fashion community.)

The fit of the pink dress is absolutely stunning on you, its just the shimmery plasticky looking fabric that cheapens the dress somewhat and gives it a bit of that "fast fashion" look. That's on the designer though, not you.

The front part of the pink dress the booba part is so disappointing because I think it does look expensive and show stopping bar there. Like everywhere else the shaping is so beautiful and then like Vincent said why is it that it has a bikini top? I just think it would have looked so much better with a plain high neck or a cowl neck or an off the shoulder or square neck or a less cheap looking neckline of the same shape but I think why it looks cheap is because they went with the y2k vibes and let's be honest we stopped wearing the y2k stuff because it all looked a bit cheap or trashy and we were done with that look so if you reframe it as oh it's just y2k then it makes it more worth it. But I was expecting something less y2k and more wow

Want to do a little shoutout to Siren Pearls who made the wings. I'm a cosplayer and costume maker and I own several sets of her wings. They're absolutely amazing quality and so so so beautiful IRL 😍😍😍. And yeah I always tuck them into the back of a corset/corset bodice with my costumes as you mentioned in the video as well. With a corset they stay secured all day and I've never had an issue with them sliding down. They're also very light, so good to wear to a convention all day. The problem with those ''tiktok wings'' is that the iridescent film they use breaks usually after 1 wear (believe me I've tried), because it's so thin and flimsy. Siren Pearls her wings are incredible quality and I've used mine so many times now and not a scratch or mark on them.

I have a friend who makes fairy wings with the back piece that slides into your bra/shirt but she also wraps that part with two really long, thick rainbow ribbons so that you can use the ribbon ends to tie the wings up higher on your back. They can get a little fussy depending on what clothes you wear over them but it is an option for you. They def work a lot better without the ribbons and just slid into the back of a corset top!
