FIrst thanks a lot for this really useful and easy turorial, it really helped me to run my CPU coller.

I have a question though, don't know if anyone have and idea/answer: a few weeks ago I had a Gigabyte B550M Aorus Elite as a Mobo, paired with my 5700x. When following this undervolt method I had great results: offset -30, lower temps and a max clock of 4750Mhz.
Today I've installed a new motherboard (the Asus Tuf Gaming B550 Plus Wifi II), and when I applied the same undervolt method, my temps were also lower by around 15 degrees, but my max clock didn't reach 4750Mhz as before but "only" 4650Mhz.

Even if I'm really new to Asus' bios, I tried to applied all "optimized default settings" like with the Gigabyte one, but I don't understand how a "better" mobo gives worst results.

Anyone has an idea?

I have 7800x3D, I dont see Curve Optimizer Mode in the basic view?

The latest software does not have basic mode, only advanced mode

Do these new core values then have to be inputted manually in UEFI or does the Ryzen Master Utility do that when you click Apply?

tried this on ryzen master , 5900x 64 gb ram 3600 mhz gskill , noctua cooler , at stock settings i got cinebench 2024 results as 1048 multi core 77 degree, then applied co in ryzen master not bios , i got 1227 multicore same 77 degree , 17% increase basically on score , no temp decrease but, now i want to know should i apply these settings in bios or i can use ryzen master , will the settings auto apply when i start pc ? also why no temp difference ? room temp is 33 degree

BIOS version 4006 with default settings and DOCP enabled. After running per core optimization, RM set an all core offset to -30. Restarted into Windows and CB failed to even start. Uninstalled RM, reset BIOS to default plus DOCP and set negative offset to 10 under PBO. System is stable and haven't tried anything else. RM is strange. Could be my fan profile, keep it pretty quiet. Temps are great. Kraken 360 AIO, 5900x, X570 Crosshair VIII DH, G.Skill 3600 cl16...what fan profile did you use when you ran the per core optimization in RM? -thanks

For me the ryzen master settings are not stable. Strangely enough it is stable while benchmarking, but not in idle

7800X3D - No temperature change whatsoever. 89C before and 89C after. Sucks :(

No curve optimizer mode exists for me.

I tried this and Ryzen Master set all cores to -30 except for core 3 that is set to -26 and now it can't even boot anymore. I had to clear CMOS, I don't understand, is RM setting too low values?

What if you have curve optimizer set in bios what will that do? Is it ok to still run this?

Hi thanks for the guide. One question here: I am currently running curve optimizer and the system has crashed several times so far. Is that normal? The optimizer is resuming after the restart and it seems fine. I am just a bit scared :D

I just bought a Ryzen 7 5800x3D... will this be applicable for that as well? I know that sounds like a dumb question but I believe that AMD specifically blocked any overclocking on it but does that also extend to undervolting?

My 5500 max temp was reduced to 68c from 72c on Cinebench and the score is increased from ~9,6k to ~10,5k Not that much but still good.

I also got 29, 29, 29, 29, 23, 28 value.

Should i turn pbo off before using curve optimizer or leave it on

Got mine in all cores -30 but still my 5950x crashes.

I’ve been having problems getting my PBO to work . I did exactly everything correctly and still giving me basic scorres. Even on the actual bios PBO I’m not able to get any results either👎

I dont see this setting for my 7950X3d when I go into the basic mode. What do I need to do to enable this?

I suspect this Optimizer option only shows up in Ryzen Master when the motherboard/bios supports it.

ran it and my pc started boot cycling 🤣 luckily just I could load into bios and just reset to default settings. (this was with 7700x and asrock b650 lighting pg atx)

Is it stable all the times .. i didnt know this and tried playing in the bios and i got crashes on all 30 i want to all -25 and 3 days was good and on the 4th day crash in game i tried this just now i got good temps on 5600x it went to 4.7

hmmm. My master only has control mode, it doesnt have curve optimizer modc listed in basic. Ive got a 7950x3d.

Great video. The only thing that would’ve made it better is if you had used software like HWInfo64 to show before and after with the temps and voltage.

I don't have the same basic screen that you do at all. Curve optimizer is nowhere to be found I only have default, auto oc and manual. There's nothing under that. How is yours different than mine?

I dont seem to have the option to optimise in basic view? for my 7800x3d, I can only adjust them manually in advanced. How do I determine what to set each core at?

Why has this guy put up 3 videos about the same bleedin thing. A bit of advice ya need to get to the point a bit quicker and stop repeating yourself. Or if you download RYZEN MASTER, this software will do everything you have just done with 1 click. Just click auto overclock. Do you know I have a caravan for sale with no bloody wheels on? 😂😂😂

I bought a Ryzen 9 7900X and a Aorus Elite AX Mobo not realizing how hot this CPU gets, I have a Corsair ICUE H150i 360 water cooler and using Ryzen master will be enough to cool it down. I need to get Memory and a power supply then I'll be ready to build it. What do you think?
