Wow nice ruselt sir love from India 😊
ОтветитьWe did an Australia trip 10 years ago and looking up at the night sky is one of the standout things I remember most. The Milky Way was truly awe-inspiring with the naked eye. You certainly couldn't miss it.
ОтветитьI know you're disappointed over not being able to show the Uluru images. This is the first I ever heard a permit is required. Hope you are able to get one after the fact as it's a shame not to show them. All your photos are awesome!
I never realised how luckily I am to be able to get Scorpius and Orion so high in altitude. I just need to come and visit you to get Andromeda! It was great meeting you and Ashley at Star Stuff III and hope you can come back and visit Australia again soon.
Travor,
I glad you're trip with Ashley to Australia went well, and got to spend time with Dylan O'Donnell and his family.
I saw you and Dylan on the hot chilly callange🔥
I hope one day to go Australia , it's on my bucket list 🪣
Some times I take the Southern sky for granted living in Australia. The Milky Way core and the nebulae the extend south of it are all right there for us. Add into that other gems like the Magellanic clouds, star clusters like Alpha Centauri and 47 Tucanae, and galaxies like the Southern Spiral and Centaurus A are breathtaking.
I normally find a dark sky over the next month or 2 to do some core shots. Even 30 seconds at 17mm on a full frame on a static mount can get you some stunning results.
Was in the Philippines last year and out on a beach lit up from hotels and restaurants, you could clearly see the milky way out over the ocean. High in the sky. Was stunning. Only got a mobile pic of it though.
ОтветитьAwesome shot mate & glad the southern / Aussie Milky stacked up & exceeded all expectations
ОтветитьThose shots are really insane! But didnt you captured the LMC and the SMC?
ОтветитьHey Trevor. Nice to see you had some great fun there with Dylan. And what a cool jam session 😀 incredible shots as always. Thanks for sharing
ОтветитьSadly the milkyway is upside down in aus :(
ОтветитьWelcome to the southern hemisphere!! My valley (South Africa).
ОтветитьHaha, I feel guilty mate that I've been enjoying that magnificent winter Milky Way core vista all my life. Mind you, I wouldn't mind seeing the Big Dipper, Cassiopeia and the Pole Star... they would be cool. Hope you enjoyed the Carina Nebula and the Wishing Well Cluster, NGC 3532.
ОтветитьIt can't be true about Uluru, how is that even possible? Can you paint it or digitally edit a photo from online. How sad for us aussies
ОтветитьWelcome to our backyard, glad you enjoyed your stay
ОтветитьGreat, two nice people and favorite astrophotographers who have taught me a lot personally and helped me to progress in our shared hobby. A perfect example of how people can get together and get absorbed in a hobby and achieve their goals together and experience joy. Yes, "we are all going to die", but not in a useless way. With great respect....
ОтветитьShame about Uluru restrictions. I really wanted to see your perspective man. By the way great vid Trevor.
ОтветитьBrasil ❤❤❤😊
ОтветитьRecently went to the southernmost point of Europe, its such a difference to central Europe where you cant fully see the core of the Milky Way
ОтветитьThats insane that you need a permit to photograph nature. The world has gone mad.
ОтветитьI did that exact trip (Ottawa --- Vancouver --- Melbourne) and I was so jet lagged I couldnt sleep for 3 days...it was awful. LOVED Australia though
ОтветитьA great video as always Trevor. I was wondering how you managed with walking noise with your Star Adventurer mount as it looks like you are not auto-guiding? I hope you can advise. Cheers
ОтветитьThe reason they don't want Trevor showing the Uluru footage is because they don't want anyone with 500K+ of followers showing it on their social media and then causing a mass amount of tourism there. If Bob and Jane show it on their IG with 24 followers, no big deal.
ОтветитьYeah.
The southern cross is also pretty neat.
Less light pollution down here.
In south Australia an South New Zealand you also can see the southern lights.
The south has a lot to offer. 👍
Wow, the Results do really looks unbelievably stunning, and we really need to learn from you that how to make our Australian trips worth😉 upto 200% 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
ОтветитьIs there any way you cam just publish your images, timelapses and video of uluro to your website in a blog?
ОтветитьNext time you come down under, hit WA, the weather is much better. And you're based in the North, we expect northern content. You do your thing. We love it.
ОтветитьWow!
ОтветитьI live in australia and just read the entire document regarding the use of images of uluru.
It totally feels like a money grab by those running the place. I couldn't find anywhere what the fines applicable for using the images without their permission are, it feel more like you will just hurt our feelings if you don't pay us first, once you pay all is good.
Either pay the $20 and get the licence and publish you images (I would do this just to be nice), Or publish them anyway, you aren't getting sent a fine or anything anyway.
Great video by the way, we are pretty lucky here with out night scapes.
Looks like you had an epic trip. And talented musicians as well! Did not know that about the galactic core in the southern hemisphere. Looks spectacular! Dr B from smokey Manitoba, Canada 🇨🇦
Ответить🤩🤩
ОтветитьIt was really nice to meet you at StarStuff, hope to see you next year!
ОтветитьThe skies of the southern hemisphere are truly exceptional. We boast the biggest and brightest globular clusters, open clusters, the Milky Way, and stunning nebulae. While we might not excel in galaxies observations, we more than make up for it with two unique celestial wonders: the Large and Small Magellanic Clouds.
The only category i found that we truly lack, is meteor showers. Greetings from argentina!
the northern circumpolars will always have a special place in my heart ❤️
ОтветитьThe BS money grab over Ayers Rock is just another example of the greed...
ОтветитьYooo Trevor on the drums! Love it!
Ответитьwhat? there's an astronomy convention with more scopes than joeys per sqr mile and ya'll surprised it was raining? first rodeo? ehhe
sweet vid as always! Glad to see you both came back in one piece from all the stuff that wants to eat peeps in stralia
Brilliant video trevor ive got a cloud cover of 3% today hoping to capture some brilliant targets
ОтветитьMY AUSTRALIAN BOISSSSS
ОтветитьThank you so much for sharing. What an awesome adventure 🙌👏
ОтветитьI find it absolutely disgusting about the permit thing for AYERS ROCK... What a load of crap!!!!!!!
I guess that's a signal to anyone else wanting to come here... go somewhere else instead.
Australia really is turning into a s***hole!
Good stuff! I loved that you included your jam session! 👍👍
ОтветитьI see you got the Carina Nebula but surely you didn't go all the way to Australia to not photograph the Large Magellanic Cloud and the nearby Tarantula Nebula?
ОтветитьYou liked the Vegemite because it was spread correctly. So many non Aussies slap it on like peanut butter
ОтветитьHello from Chile - hopefully your next southern sky destination, astronomy capital of the world. I find that using my ASIAIR with my gen 1 Star Adventurer gives me quick and easy polar alignment down here. You are so right about the view of the Milky Way we enjoy here. It’s so much better than what we can see from the north. Clear skies, friends.
ОтветитьOne of my last bucket list thing to see is the southern hemisphere sky!!!
ОтветитьBeautiful shot of the center!
ОтветитьWhat a great shot! Thanks for sharing!!
I purchased your editing tutorial, thanks for that! Very user friendly, easy to understand and I have learned a ton!
