Very well said!
ОтветитьWow! That was very revealing and helped me understand what I am actually doing as an entrepreneur.
ОтветитьIt's easy in US
But if you trying to be entrepreneur in CCP or Romania is another game. Corruption will beat you down 👇
That company is making money it's ok but more important fir me is how is that changing the local area/ the country.
Is it positive long term?
What country do you have your business registered in? Is it under a trust ? Is is registered as a company?
ОтветитьAmazing video, thanks for that, 1 question though:
Do you have the same editor who edits Ali Abdaal's videos? :D
Masterful clarity. Excellent.
ОтветитьMany things spot on in this video. I would just comment regarding one thing: that governments don't know what to do with digital companies. Of course they do - they can exert control through the traditional financial system. It is the focal point because end of the day, everybody needs to make money. Banks enable the money flow and the government can easily control it. Only technologies like blockchain, and new value systems, can disrupt this.
Ответитьvery illuminating! Many thanks 🙏🙏🙏
ОтветитьDaniel, you simultaneously make me fully aware of my ignorance and I feel my brain swell just a bit after consuming your stuff. Thank you for this break down. Yeah, plus I really love the meta sales plug of your stuff, lol. Your books are excellent.
I feel like there is a bunch of opportunity for analog service providers. People are always gonna need places to live and infrastructural development, as well as maintenance. AKA classic boring business opportunity.
I think everyone believes they have to become tech saavy or a coder, which is fear inducing.
You have any take on crypto? Is it something you follow? I don't understand it at all, lol.
I appreciate the practical realism behind this optimistic view-point - Your big picture view of how history brought us here is very helpful - and encouraging. Many thanks
ОтветитьEven wars might be fought "online"...think cyber security etc
ОтветитьLove that you're tackling these big issues in this way and using the small business perspective is so refreshing. After all, we're the people who drive the economy - maybe all the politics is just a distraction and doesn't matter as much as we think.
ОтветитьTrue sign of brilliance ... the ability to simplify and the ability to clarify. Both of which you did - brilliantly! Btw, the pace and rhythm of this video were also both ... spectacular. Great share. Cheers, Daniel.
ОтветитьI tried to read the Wealth of Nation. But it was too dry and the language was quite difficult because its so old
ОтветитьDaniel, thanks for the great insights. I love your content!
ОтветитьDaniel, spotted this pendulum early 2023. Did not compile it as eloquently as you have in this brilliant video. Our shift, as a content marketing company replaced or retrained labour to use technology. Now we have built two Score App type products, for very little capital and a very small team. It will be disruptive as it is being deployed, because it flips the typical content marketing model on its head and makes it obsolete because it can no longer compete with its speed and cost to create. Thank you again for creating and sharing this…well done.
Ответитьvery interesting argument and I'd have to agree. The governments of the world, particularly in the legacy brand / old world / west, do not know how to keep capital and tax payers tied to their system
ОтветитьGood summary. Thank you so much.
ОтветитьBig fan of your work and I am enjoying the Dent program. Question for you: could you give some pointers on how to manage money as a Small Global Biz? Taxes here in the Netherlands are brutal.
ОтветитьI think the governments are learning fast how to deal with online businesses. With lockdown around the world they wiped out many small businesses, many who had been around for generations.
Facebook was lent on by government to censor as he as admitted now.
Google buried the great Barrington declaration on page 3 with thousands of drs who were saying protect the vulnerable and let society get on with life ( like Sweden)
When you scale up the world is owned by a few huge corporations Vanguard and black rock and government understand the power of propaganda
There have been threats of internet black outs. It would be just a matter of time before it could wipe out digital businesses.
Where is the back up plan, Dan? I did hear once that Tim Berners-lee was working on a different format but have heard nothing recently.
They are going for the owner of Telegram, Rumble is now banned in some countries. They’d like to censor Elon if the can…we need entrepreneurs working on solutions that are independent and can be for the people. Be interested in your thoughts…
Brilliant, Dan. Loved the thread starting from Adam Smith through to today.
Ответить❤ entrepreneurship is the way for us all , especially the Gen Z. Thanks for sharing 👍
ОтветитьSo capital intensive businesses will still be vital- manufacturing aint going away. And you need labour to get things moving unless ofcourse automation and ai levels up in big way. So not sure I completely understand. Yes sure, small enterprises that support with software have tremendous value, but its not the highest ceiling out there.
ОтветитьBrilliant explanation,thank you
ОтветитьDaniel, two comments: 1. Great observations on the evolving macro landscape, and very thought provoking. 2. Nice office, like it!
ОтветитьWoow so simply explained, in less that 10 minutes, you"re the goat.
ОтветитьYou've nailed lighting on this one! what did you change?
ОтветитьWhat about labour intensive industries like construction?
I know people that’s done really well in this sector recently.
Where does the pendulum heading next then? Because I think that's where the money is. Maybe even the same Entrepreneurial evolution but with different markets that are still not saturated.
E.g. building e-shops/websites seems to be an oversaturated market where everyone is competing for very competitive prices that go lower and lower. Creating websites is not as lucrative as it used to be.
