Yeah the new stand looks nicer, but they charge you for it now. The old ps5 stand came in the box. So not only is the new ps5 just build cheaper the the previous model they are now charging you more by making you pay for that stand separately. This new ps5 slim is a total rip off especially if you own the original.

Just bought it and I feel like this one is a better option for those who want to try the PS5 and don’t want to break the bank. It’s so fun to play and i definitely love how the games look. I’ve never owned a modern PlayStation before, but I’m in love with what Sony does with their consoles.

This is how I see it, if you already have a Ps5 there is literally no need to get this, but if you have a PS4 or a different console and want to get a new Ps5 get the slim.

quick question. So the ps5 slim come with some additional storage (1tb in total) compared to the og ps5, and when you opened the ssd cover there was nothing in there are you added a 2tb ssd. Does that mean the ps5 now has a total of 3 tb or you just replaced what was being used and now have 2 tb?

Are you having any issues with games that were installed with a physical disc kicking you out of the game an hour after you launch it saying that it can't read the disc and prompting you to eject the disc? This is happening to me with my PS5 slim. Hopefully I just got a bad unit.
