I found this about a month ago. I did listen to thunderstorms then I wondered if there was adult stories. I’m in mid 50’s and falling asleep is so difficult. This really helps!!😊

I did not like that you gave a synopsis of Persuasion at the start. Don’t assume we’ve all read the book or know how it ends. I started the official audiobook of this story yesterday. I’m 6 chapters in & it’s still not even clear who the main character is. Now the whole book feels a little spoiled.

Also, I know Jane system’s books are all about marriage but still. Who starts a story with the ending??

I have a REM sleep disorder and I’m a really light sleeper. When I wake up in the early hours I listen to the soothing tones and soon drift off. Thank you this has made a huge difference to my quality of sleep

This has been so helpful with my sleeping troubles I've experienced for 29 years. I absolutely love Laura's calm, relaxing, and beautiful voice! Thank you, also, for 8 hours of continuous playing...so helpful when it may take hours to fall asleep. Although, for those of you who don't know, if you click on the three little dots in the top right corner, most can be played continuously.

If only this did not include that background bell sound....distracting and irritating like dripping water....

why not just read the work in its entirety why are you foreshortening the thing and how are you plucking out the areas you think are worthwhile and excluding the other parts? would you like it if someone hacked up your creations?

And for the second story I was already relaxed and still I had to start making decisions about a damned field that now is my own and I have to make decisions? Jumpin' Jiminy! just tell me a damn story don't make me make decisions and follow breathing instructions I was already relaxed. I want to forget decisions and being told what to do and just listen to a story ... geez!

When people are really stressed, all they need is a very interesting distraction for tension and pains and troubles to fly away from them and free their mind. I was doing just fine relaxing not focusing on pain, and forgetting my sorrows & trouble -- until you started the focused attention on my body to rela'n the mattress and all that other focused breathing, and stuff, then I tensed right up again!

I'm afraid to listen to this because every half hour when she says "Hello" I know I'm gonna wake up to answer. It's like someone knocking on your door in the middle of the night. 😂

Absolutely delighted that my favorite book is the first book presented. Came back to edit - this is the story of Persuasion but not a reading of the actual book.

I know it takes a long time and effort to make such videos but I would be delighted if you can read this book once The Doon book series by Carey Corp & Lorie Langdon. It's not a famous storybook but the series is amazing and I would love to hear it in your voice.

I would rather hear the story...than a voice saying relax into my mattress this keeps me awake while I'm trying to relax to a story....once at the beginning Was more than enough, please....some of us are in pain AND cant sleep...especially the breathing exercises...over and over...
