LG 34GP63A-B Gaming Ultrawide Review

Hi there! What's diference between the LG 34WP65C-B and the 34gp63a-b?

I have this monitor with a ps5 connected to it but it is only displaying 60hz instead of 120hz and i already put performance mode and all that and yes I’m playing games 120hz compatible games

Would you recommend this over the Gigabyte G34WQC you reviewed a couple of years ago?

I'm really confused between gn800 and 32gp63a, I use a 720p TN monitor now so both are an upgrade, I want to use for both gaming and work, I play fps games mostly, is the ghosting and response time gonna affect the gameplay ? Tbh I find curved monitors really cool but I don't want to go for it if its going to sacrifice quality of gaming

I got this monitor for $250 havent opened it up yet. I might give it a try tho doesn't look to bad and im not picky. Im more a budget type of guy lol. Is $250 a good deal on this? what did u guys pay?

LG has always been my goto for anything with a screen , phones, tv, monitor etc, I don't see all the reflection stuff and I never play with sun blasting in, not good for the eyes. thank you for the review, 10 months into the future today black friday can get this for $249 and NO way on earth would I buy anything dell over LG, not happening!!

So I guess this isnt compatible with the ps5?

The mode without Motion Blur Reduction its actually better in COD. I'm not sure It was the best buy, but it's way cheaper than the Dell here in Brazil. I'm enjoying ultrawide thou.

great review! is anyone else concerned about the 5 ms response time compared to a 1 ms response time? i know that if i want a 1 ms response time i should go for something more expensive, but is there a HUGE difference?

I don't see much ghosting but a lot of brightness flicker in freesync - common problem of VA panels.

Dell's brightness in SDR isn't much higher, it hits 344 and the LG is 300. Honestly HDR only is worth in OLED and miniled screens, or with a good local dimming (which is rare in monitors). Increasing the brightness on common IPS and VA panel kills the contrast and cause more IPS/VA glow.

Thanks a lot for the review. I watched this video like a 100 times while doing comparisons and ended up buying this one. Coming from a 1080p 27 inch monitor, WOOOW this screen is amazing though I don't know how it will work with my Xbox Series S when I connect. Nice review but i dont know if i agree about the HDR part, my monitor also only has hdr400 but the picture still looks better and more realistic for my taste.

Nice review! How does it compare to the LG 34WP65C-B? In my region I can get both monitors for about the same price.

sadly the difference between them here in brazil is higher, where the dell is US$200 more expensive!
