It always irked me how many crappy, or in some case useless (V.A.N.S., Basher, Steady Aim), perks there are in this game when Bethesda could have dedicated at least four or five of them to settlement building.

How is there a place for ghoulish and most of the other garbage in the endurance skill tree but next to nothing involving construction beyond the ability to make crafting workbenches?

Even something as simple as harvesting additional crops from a given plant (which was available as far back as Oblivion) or using less materials to make mods or build settlement elements would have been better than wankfests like basher.

just imagine fallout 4 with the same, if not, better RPG elements of new vegas AND the settlement building.

I enjoy watching peoples creativity when it comes to Fallout Settlements, but there's also ones like that's a little uncomfortable cause the dude is WAY too serious and into his make believe house😂. First of all really cool looking house but also, ypu DO know you don't get to actually live in it right? This is how my mom always showed off our house at Christmas when the family came in, same energy 😂

I would like to be able to restore the commonwealth to prewar condition. They left out the 4 seasons and 200 years the raditation would eventually decrease and everything would regrow so I'd have new lumber to build with.

tenpines is horrible, it's riddled with precombines that all scrap mods break if they remove things like the mattresses and those support beams. its unfortunate as it's build limit is rather low

I did something similar recently, got all my settlements to like 18+ people each except for the couple at TP, and I made them a new house a bit like you did .......but they still stay in their shit shack because you can't delete/move their beds.

what controls did you use to straff the house?

i play on PS4. can you do all this stuff (no mods) on PS4? or do you have to play on PC to do this?

I tried this and it didn’t work for me either all I got was constant red and it wouldn’t fit in no matter how I moved it.I thought maybe it was because it’s to close to the border of it but idk what I’m doing wrong I followed everything exactly and it just will not go in no matter what i do. shrugs

Your little half walls that you used seem to be all broken up are you sure you have the full DLC because there are walls or half walls that are perfectly almost filled all the way in if not you can always use a solid glass panel

I found your page recently and it is always the most helpful. Even when I do a generic search, your videos are always exactly what I need. The only thing I cannot figure out is why the switch axis (sprint button) will not work for me. I can only rotate x or y.

Tenpines is such a shite Settlement, that I always end up just surrounding it with Metal Walls (to not waste Concrete) so that I don't have to bother with actually trying to keep those 2 geniuses there alive. Instead, I just built the walls in such a way, that every Raid spawns outside of them.
High-Damage Laser Turrets on every side, and the Settlement is fine.

Imagine if Bethesda cared about there games… weird to think right

Don't understand why it's not working for me. I followed the steps precisely but whenever I get the house over the ruins no matter what it's always red.

It drives me crazy that almost all window textures contain broken glass.
Why the fuck would I build a brand new structure and use a broken glass window?

So no hate, but I'm just wondering why so firm on no mods? Is it just to show people on PlayStation what can be done? Or are you just against mods? Like I said I mean no disrespect, I'm just curious.
