if i shimmer the traveling merchant or skeleton merchant, will they remain in their new forms even after dispawning or leaving? Or will i need to shimmer them everytime i come across them?

how do i turn essence of eleum into essense of crystal it says to throw it in the shimmer but nothing happens idk what to do lmao I'm in hardmode

you can put in dungeon bricks to get ancient bricks, also you can put in hardmode crates for prehardmode ones, as well as some other stuff like ores downgrading and free reforges
