Ответитьtheres one song from that time period i wish i knew the name of by the fixx with a 2 note sybthesizer intro
Ответитьwhats that song?
ОтветитьWalks to the post like its a walk in the park, what a talent. He was in Charlotte NC at 610, as John Larsh in the mid 60s.
ОтветитьThe big 610 was still a well oiled machine in 1983. One of the last of the legendary AM Top40s!!
ОтветитьAny of you know the song playing @: 48 seconds?
ОтветитьIn 1981, Jack Armstrong hosted Popclips on Nickelodeon, which was the testing ground for when MTV first came to be on August 1st, 1981.
ОтветитьJackson Armstrong! I remember him from WKBW Radio 1520 in Buffalo.
ОтветитьThe best muuuuuuusic in stereo! ❤🚴🏽♀️
ОтветитьBack when radio was exciting to listen to.
Ответитьhitting the post like a pro!
Ответитьdang...never knew of him.. watched this whole thing. THAT IS TALENT.
ОтветитьI used to listen to Jackson on Ten-Q in Los Angeles. Most listeners aren't aware of the elements that make a station sound exciting and energized but when they all come together they hear good positive FUN. Jackson Armstrong is shown practicing an art with absolute precision. I loved hearing him on the air and thinking, "Wish I had a fraction of his talent!" He made this radio personality (me) love the medium even more. I miss him, gone way too soon.
Ответитьhe's got a mustache for the big screen
ОтветитьOne of the best .. Jackson rocked … Got to say KFRC in my radio career … very thankful
ОтветитьOne of the best. Thanks George!
ОтветитьI was a DJ the same year in Corpus Christi C-101, if you only knew what happens in the studio in the middle of the night
ОтветитьLook how he stands and puts his whole body into it. That's how they do!
ОтветитьThere's an art to this, nailing the timing just right, the voice all of it.
ОтветитьI love these videos! Great stuff. Thanks!
ОтветитьAbsolutely FANTASTIC! What a lost art this is now.
ОтветитьWow what a set of pipes. That’s how radio used to be done.
