Halo 3 All Cutscenes in 4K 60fps

For me halo ended with this game. New game was such a pile of trash

"Where is she chief . . . Where is Cortana". Wow, that line means so much and hits so hard now. Initially, sadness of what changed in Cortana starting at Halo 4, but then reverence that Cortana in Halo 3 is the last Cortana for me. H4 wasn't a terrible direction, but it started down a path they couldn't return from.

Fan theory: But what if the answer to the Flood wasn’t found? Though it is implied via 343 Guilty Spark that his new ring was the answer, it wasn’t ready to fire by the time they got there. Even if it was, how would Cortana know? In Halo 2 she mentioned something else was in the system which offers a clue. What if the answer to the flood was Mendicant Bias? What if the fragment of it was what contacted her in High Charity before the Key Ship launched, and told her of the remaining fragment on the Ark? After all, Mendicant went up against entire worlds consumed by the Flood. A single Gravemind would be no match for it.

If the final scene was made during Bungie’s time with Halo then, they most likely already had a concept for Requiem and most likely same bungie workers went to 343i to make it happen

Their graphics are still in my opinion very good. It has more detail and looks more real than reach and their faces look better on halo reach compared to 3.

I always wondered why they never considered this. seeing as Johnson was a spartan 1, they should of given him mjolnir. If the augmentation he had wasn't enough, they should of just given him spartan 3 augmentation so he could of worn mjolnir. That would of been badass

So.. Question. What happened to the crew of the Forward Unto Dawn and the Marines in its compliment? Is it ever stated why the ship is seemingly empty? Did Johnson drop them off with the Elites?

Halo 3 is a masterpiece of the videogame history. From de beginning to the end, all was made so accurate.

You can't beat the visuals in this game man. What a team back in the day. Bungie was unmatched.

(SPOILER) I just realized something. When the Arbiter says "were it so easy" he said at the start and at the end. I think that means he knows. He said it in the end of 3, he knew 117 was still alive when he left. What a character.

God I miss the old Halo era…it was so much better written and better made than the new Halo games. 3 was my personal favorite and I played till my 360 gave out.

when will dev nowdays will drop as story-driven, "fuc cgi, im going png with pelican", characters, and the amount of playtime that rent free on your memories
not telling even the cutscenes took almost 50 minutes, and not even trying to put all the size to 4K texture and amount of features. Just you, png of the flood planet, and some cool interaction that you won't forget seeing with your eyes

I like the fact that the Arbiter comes into high charity to help Chief

It’s crazy to think how mid games are these days and back then they had a full cast of a list actors in 2007 and without a doubt the best soundtrack ever in gaming.

I love this amazing story. Halo 3 might be the best of the Halo series. I believe the parallels to the spiritual world in the Halo and in the Destiny stories/characters are no coincidence.The struggle between good and evil, the Flood are the fallen angels/soldiers who have died, the Gravemind is the leader and embodiment of the fallen, building up your light level in Destiny, the Hive (again a reference to the fallen/evil kingdome) etc. Obviously, the people creating these games are spiritually awake or they have very strong connections to their soul and don't realize it. Just amazing stuff..✌
