BARBARIAN Trailer (2022)

I tried to like this movie and it did have serious twists but like... WHY ARE THEY ALL SO STUPID. It was so frustrating. They just kept walking into a death trap repeatedly, worse than any other horror movie.

Why?

A lot of comments hyping it up but storywise the movie was pretty bad. Not scary except a couple of jumpscares. Really not much at all, pure hype. Atleast that's how I felt about it.

I don’t get how that Frank guy (man in store and man who shoots self - look a lot worse in bed). But if that’s the guy who created the monster and been raping woman. We’re was he when talking to the neighbor about moving? Frank have a dif house?

I’m no physics major. Barley graduates. But we supposed to believe that mutant hit the ground first?? Lol. Such a creepy movie yet ruined by dumb crap like that. That made less sense then HW guy owning a house in Brightmoor Detroit

He had the flashlight, not her. So je had to see her. Not the other way around. Him shooting her made no sense.

Cool they used Brightmoor Detroit. Not cool stole “Dont Breathe” idea. Anyone who know about Broghtmoor? No HW actor or anyone in HW is not gonna have a rental in Brightmoor. Lol. A She Monster is more realistic then him owning that house. Lol.

Cons: Protagonist is so stupid that every minute I see her do something, I'm pulling my hair off.

Overall, great plot but suffers the usual horror genre problems by making the characters IQ negative.

Trully disappointed with the producers.

This movie sucked! Was interesting up until Keith got killed and then went downhill. Did not find it scary at all . Dumb storyline.

just a movie about a serial rapist who somehow even after being noticed by many people, procreated and the child/ren had super powers… 2 hours of my life succesfully wasted

Wow I just watched the movie it's scare you with jumpscares, atmosphere and the vibes you can also feel the tense in each situations very good actors/actress I just feel bad for the monster in the end she just want to take care of her child but overall it's a good story.

Humanity is completely fucked up. Even if this movie is a joke, there's someone who liked it. I quit, I give up.

I honestly wouldn't expect a woman to be comfortable with me following her into a basement. I'm 65, I'm a former army veteran, I'm covered in tattoos, there is no reason in hell that a woman would feel comfortable following me down into a base even though I'm one of the most harmless guys on the planet. Justin long was the perfect character for this movie, because as much as you like him, you believe his b*******. He's got that cheesy ass smile, he's acted in a lot of movies where you become his favorite little character, and it's true. And that's perfect for this role because you could never picture Justin Long doing something like he's being accused of, but then he slowly becomes the douchebag that you know he is. And this was a very well play droll. As much as I don't like his character, I respect the roll. He got me

All in all a great movie. But tbh, if it was realistic, the woman wouldve said "nope, ill just sleep in the car somewhere in the city"

I don't get why this movie become a 7.1 on Imdb...the story was nothing special and I also don't get the positive comments. I think bought comments or teenagers.

The less you know, the better, but what I will say is that it's a really effective horror film, with great maintained tension/dread, and some surprising developments.

It's just a pity that the trailer doesn't/can't really sell it.

Hab echt lange auf den Film gewartet und war dann sehr neugierig, weil er so gelobt wird.
Aber schon in der ersten halben Stunde nervt die Hauptdarstellerin und der Film einfach.
Männer sind böse Schweine und Frauen die Opfer, sie tut Dinge, die sie ihm aber vorwirft, weil sie ja eine harmlose Frau ist und dann ist es ja in Ordnung. Boah ne ich kann es langsam nicht mehr sehen. Wirklich traurig, dass man ohne woke nicht mehr auskommt, aber so gucke ich mir keinen Film an
